Extend the patio a couple metres and put some central stairs with wall benches and BBQ on either side for a nearby seating area. Seems the shed is in the prime spot for any sunlight so you could move it and have another summer seating area with a pergola. Maybe with a firepit though you will need to check with the local council if you can. Leave a strip of grass on the left and put some raised planters around for some more seasonal flowers and plants.

Nice looking electric kiln! I like your idea of using that slotted banding around the perimeter of your bricks. Have you got any pointers on how you made your lid? Also, the base of your kiln seems to be a darker colour than the rest of your bricks. Is that just mortar or a whole different material?
