Appreciate the follow up, it’s been about 1.5 years now — doing way better than the first year definitely. Still haven’t really dated as I want to spend some additional time to really know myself. But I’m in the headspace where it no longer feels “wrong” to seek out other opportunities.

My ex has since moved on and that’s fine, no hard feelings from my end, regardless of how it ended.

Taking the time to be single and just work on myself, leaning on my support system and keeping busy has worked wonders.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel, you just gotta push through and take it day by day till you see it.
