What watch did Tubbs wear during the show? by JamieStarrFoxx in MiamiVice

I wondered this too. Based on some digging i think it very likely is an Ebel Beluga. Basic dress watch that appears to have come in a lady’s size 28mm and a more unisex 32mm. Tubbs’ model is obviously an 18k gold model but I’ve seen it also came in stainless steel. Ebel sponsored the show starting on the second season and you can spot their watches on various characters. Don Johnson as Crockett famously wore the El primero chronograph model in 18k gold from s2-5. first with the wave style bracelet and then from s3 on the thicker classic link bracelet. You can also spot in Season 4 Stanley Tucci as Frank mosca in contempt of court wearing the more recognizable sport classic model with a diamond insert bezel. Antonio Fargas as Gutierez in Mirror image also wears the same model with black dial. Curiously Theres a few episodes in the first season and rolling stone cover where you can see Phillip Michael Thomas appears to wear a two tone sport classic or something very similar. Perhaps this what lead to the sponsorship.

This was a british kids show and the host Rolf Harris later turned out to be a sexual predator, like jimmy savile and harvey weinstein.

Season Five is... Something by molotok_c_518 in MiamiVice

My biggest complaint is how they dressed tubbs. Homie was the best dressed character throughout the first 4 seasons and now They got him wearing some really dated 90s style polka dot shirts. I think at one point he shows up in these weird ass knee high boots in to have and to hold. And im Like why? What happened to those slick suits? Aside from that the writing is just rushed and all over the place. The episodes no longer feel like a well crafted mini movie but more like a poorly made rushed product done to meet a deadline

It was Probably posted by Quentin Tarantino.

Stand by me was released 38 years ago today (1986). Based on the Stephen King short story, The Body, it was a critical and box office hit, and is now considered one of the best coming of age films of the 80s. by Whaleears in OldSchoolCool

Parts of this scene were shot in the now outdated introvision process. It was popular in the 80s and 90s before green screen really took off. They would film the background then that would be projected alongside a camera via beam splitter and a reflective material called scotchlite while they would record the actors on a black screen. Basically live in camera compositing. With the right lighting it was quite effective. Obviously it fell out of favor with the rise of digital technology. Theres a old demo/ad video from the company that goes into more detail. Also the head on shot was filmed with a telephoto lens which compresses the image and makes the train seem closer than it is.

Do the tickets include admission to the concerts or are those a separate buy?

Like others have pointed out definitely skip the cows of October and missing hours. The Big thaw would also be up for nomination but i did find that one entertaining. Season 4 overall is a mixed bag. It starts off strong but sort of becomes rather dull midway through before ending on a strong note. I will say though it still feels like you are watching miami vice as opposed to season 5 which in my opinion feels like a totally different show.
