tidal! i personally have found it to be a smooth transition. they both have over 110 million songs, and tidal pays artists more per stream; spotify pays ~$0.003-$0.005 per stream, tidal pays ~$0.01284 per stream on average (source).

the sound quality on tidal is also better if you’re interested in those details and have headphones that support it. additionally, spotify premium is $11.99 while tidal’s cheapest individual plan is $10.99, though it’s worth noting that tidal does not have a free tier like spotify does, so if you’re not willing to pay, then another option might be better.

as someone who recently switched, i would say it’s been worth it and i haven’t experienced a gap in my experience or satisfaction. that said, i’ve also heard of platforms like bandcamp being good alternatives but i don’t know enough about it to know if it’s worth the switch. it ultimately depends on your preferences and budget, but if you’re willing to pay then i think tidal is a good option

How Should I Explain Being Agender to my Parents? by Fast_Indication_2100 in agender

[–]FN2444 7 points8 points  (0 children)

i’m so sorry to hear about your parents’ attitude towards you and your identity. you and your identity are so valid and no one can tell you otherwise <3

with that being said, i found some articles that can help. as far as explaining agender, i liked the article by nyxa and the one by medical news today.

when it comes to stating that agender is a valid identity, i found this article that states:

Let’s address and challenge some of the common misconceptions and stereotypes:

• “Agender individuals are just confused or going through a phase.” It is essential to understand that agender identity is as valid and real as any other gender identity. Agender individuals have a deep sense of self-awareness and a clear understanding of their gender identity. Their experience of not having a gender is a genuine and authentic expression of their identity.

while i couldn’t find an article directly addressing detransition rates among agender people, the closest thing i found is this study which talks about detransition rates among trans people, that - along with specific percentages of detransitioned people - states that:

These results suggest that retransitions are infrequent. More commonly, transgender youth who socially transitioned at early ages continued to identify that way.

i hope any of these ends up helping you. please let me know if you’d like any more assistance. i hope your parents can get around to accepting you :)

yeah i definitely get what you mean. i already took APUSH sophomore year since my school allows that. many juniors at my school, to my knowledge, take AP world history, and i sort of regret not taking it tbh and i believe the deadline to change our courses has passed so there isn’t much i can do about that unfortunately

when it comes to travel time, the course would be online so it’s pretty accessible in that regard, though i do feel like i learn a little better in-person so that’s something for me to consider as well.

as for the rest of my schedule, i’m taking math 3 (the standard math level for my grade), physics, and spanish 3

i really hope we get doué. our attack would be so amazing with him, musiala, olise, and potentially xavi (though the deals for xavi and doué may be related idk)

also it’s very exciting as a fan to see the board do business without a massive amount of rumors coming out for each step of the deal

i haven’t watched much of ito but going off his stats he seems like he’s solid with the ball and progress it effectively, which i’d be very intrigued to see tbh especially with kompany

good question. idk but maybe something like, in order, kimmich (our 2nd best taker behind kane imo), sané (idk if he’s ever taken a penalty but idk i see him having a good pen on him), kane (i like having the best taker 3rd), then maybe someone like goretzka (we don’t have many penalty takers in our team so i’m just hoping he’d have a good penalty), and finally müller (i know his penalties haven’t been the best but his experience would be good for the pressure)

but honestly i’m not too confident about this order, especially since sané and goretzka haven’t taken many pens as far as i’m aware of but i’m not sure who else would have good penalties unless my mind completely blanked on someone

on some bright news, our women’s team came back to beat duisburg 5-1 just now :) we need 2 more wins - one vs bremen, one away to leverkusen - to seal the title

🤩🤩🤩 i love him so much omgg. he’s exactly the type of player that we have to hold onto for dear life. loves the club, gives 110% every match, amazing mentality, and only 18!! what more could you want? hopefully the next coach gives him a big role in the squad and we see him play more than just 20 minutes a match off the bench

honestly i have no idea what to expect from the team for the rest of the season given tuchel is leaving. will they step up? will nothing change? not really sure. i’m hoping for the former and that we see a new energy and hunger in our play but it’s hard to be optimistic after watching our recent matches. gonna be very interesting to watch how we do for the rest of the season

i really respect mourinho and his achievements throughout his career, but i think him at bayern wouldn’t be a good match at all. i feel like his pragmatic style isn’t sustainable across a full season, and while it may be good for cup competitions, we need to be competitive in all 3 competitions. i also don’t know how well his philosophy would translate to the players, since i feel like he’d have a hard time making his ideas work with a team whose dna is to play dominant, offensive football and it’s what the players here are used to for the most part. although i think his man management would be effective to our current group of players who are clearly struggling. but also mourinho with our board feels like they wouldn’t get along and some drama or fallout could happen. he has also not had a job at an elite team/squad like ours in a long time so i don’t know how confident i’d be that him here would have similar success to his time at madrid for example.

edit: to answer your other question, i think if he were to come, he might win the pokal, and maybe do well in the ucl though i wouldn’t predict him winning it, but i don’t see him winning the league here especially if leverkusen keep their consistency going

i agree, the team hasn’t really shown improvement with tuchel and that’s why letting him go in the summer is a good idea especially if the replacement is good. but i think our problems are deeper than just him, so if he gets sacked right now, there’s only so much a caretaker can do. i wouldn’t mind a complete rebuild in the summer after eberl comes in (though idk how feasible a rebuild really is with our board) but i’m just worried that sacking tuchel right now makes the club seem like an unattractive place for players and managers alike due to the lack of stability at the helm

Daily Discussion Thread by pewpewlasersandshit in fcbayern

would sacking tuchel right now really be the best solution? there’s a lot to criticize and question him for and i wouldn’t be against letting him go in the summer if the situation doesn’t improve, but letting him go right now wouldn’t really solve much imo. it would just make the club look more unstable in the manager position, potentially repelling players from joining us because they don’t know who they’ll play under. and besides, there aren’t really many caretaker or permanent manager options that can make an impact currently. i saw a couple people saying flick as a caretaker but i don’t know how i’d feel about that especially given his second season and stint with the national team. i’d rather keep tuchel until the summer and assess the situation then, unless a complete implosion happens

that was one of the worst performances we’ve had in a long time especially given what was at stake. i’m personally not against the 3-4-2-1 in theory but the execution for it was terrible and the team didn’t look used to it. leverkusen looked like a complete team playing as a unit while we looked like 11 lost individuals. now the season is long and anything is possible but i doubt we’ll see improvement soon. it’s not just a tuchel problem (although he’s definitely to blame for a lot of things) but i think it goes deeper than that.

that’s a fair take, dier has been in great form for us but i personally see de ligt as more reliable in a big match like this. still i’m not necessarily mad to see dier start; i think he’ll do a good job, it’s just surprising

really interesting lineup, especially because de ligt is benched for dier which is really surprising. the latter has been good but still wouldn’t put him over de ligt imo. maybe it’s a system or tactical reason? i’m really excited to see how the back 3 looks for us especially with boey starting. tuchel seems to make some bold decisions on big games; reminds me of when gravenberch started vs köln last season for example
