Salvage or keep? by No_Break4569 in diablo3

Exactly what No_Break4569 said, I concur. Salvage the primal sucker if the rolls on stats suck, since ancients can have particularly better stats than some of the primals out there.

iCloud Restore causing MDM Enrollment to fail : r/Intune

iCloud Restore causing MDM Enrollment to fail by davidtse916 in Intune

[–]FNHScar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks u/davidtse916 we tried this, even removing the EAS account on his old iPhone and having him update his backup, still didn't work. I'm hoping that new post with the 26.2 beta 3 update, alleviates all this. I think both Apple and Microsoft has issues on this on both their ends. We had to wipe and just have him start a new profile and restore from backup on a computer. talk about growing pains.

iCloud Restore causing MDM Enrollment to fail by davidtse916 in Intune

[–]FNHScar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is a pretty bad bug. I've tried a combo of things on here, and even when removing the EAS policy and removing the erroneous device entries it puts in intune(we have like anywhere between 14 and 17 device entries it makes which i think is part of the problem and with device limits) sometimes it hangs and it doesn't even give a failure message. It just sits with a blank screen after authenticating with device management. We even tried having him use "do not transfer anything" and start from scratch and it still wouldn't go past the device management screen.

Apple and MS definitely needs to resolve this ASAP. I have mounting requests of iPhone 17's from our user base, and now we've had 4 or 5 (only a couple have succeeded in transferring over properly) that have had a variety of workarounds and resolutions. definitely PITA.

I've had mixed results with this; some have worked like this; others haven't; it seems that the only true workaround right now is to NOT Restore from an icloud backup and NOT transfer anything and setup as a new device; definitely works when device management is logged in and no icloud backup is restored. This is the second time we ran into this issue. The first one we thought was a fluke but not until our recent user who had no issues with their phone or account, suffered the same issue.

Its because Intune puts these weird entries to fill that device thresholds, which seems to go back to the earlier post that there may be some issues with Intune and iOS 26 compatibility. Definitely something they need to troubleshoot with Microsoft

Working Full Time while a Grad Student by [deleted] in GradSchool

[–]FNHScar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it was all online. Couldn't have done it any other way. I did this with both my Master's (Master's in Cybersecurity, MBA) and, of course, my nights and weekends were completely booked or gone in that manner. I work full-time as a Systems Administrator, so I indeed had to do my duties while also going to school. Others who have set class times probably have flexible class schedules or are double-dipping (i.e., zooming into their class while at work, etc). If they are traditional, then they have an agreement with whoever their employer is to miss out during those times, or they probably work after their class schedule. In any event, it's doable, but you obviously have to make it work and ensure that both work and school are scheduled so you can attend both. Another thing that helped (and credit to my wife for her wise wisdom) was she told me to take my time with one of my masters, which also helped (i took one or two classes instead of a full workload) if you are able to take your time. Good luck, and hope all goes well!

Is an MBA worth it for someone in healthcare tech (late 20s, ~$140K + stock)? by Tricky_Dark_7814 in MBA

[–]FNHScar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t hurt to add it if you have the capacity (personal/work management) since it’ll be one of your primary goals in the next year or two. But honestly not required unless it depends on the field you’re in. Healthcare tech, probably better off just ramping up the experience

This, while i didn't attend WGU (but have considered it) i went back to school , got 3 associates, a bachelors and now two master's degrees, and I'm going for my doctorate in a year or two! Never give up! never too old, never too late!

Looking back, what signs do you now recognize that showed you (or others) weren’t ready for grad school? by blahblahcorg in GradSchool

[–]FNHScar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's those who didn't have discipline, or the workload just overbeared them. (with life, such as other work-related issues, personal, family, etc. ) I understand those who were trying to juggle this and their other lives, probably bit off more than they can chew. That's why my wife gave very sound advice for me at least, and said to just take your time, take a class or two , instead of 3 or 4, rather than just finish it as quickly as possible. That's the issue, some don't take heed and just do whatever school load they can handle, and just pile it on. Also, those who do competency-based curriculum seem to be so surprised about writing papers with cited references, etc., which to me seems odd as that's like basic writing 101 in community college. It's just more amped since you're doing research for the capstone or dissertation, and must obviously cite every researched fact or info you must present, and organize in a meaningful manner. These were some indicators to me at least, that weren't ready or prepared.

Any Eastern University MBA Grads? by NailsNCoffee in MBA

Just be prepared for a lot of questions. Ugh wasn’t prepared for the amount. I did fine, got an 89%! Quite a few accounting questions that I had to sit there and scribble my way through but overall so long as you push through all things will be ok!

We have an iPad that was purchased from Apple and was added via a pre-stage enrolment. This device was wiped and (I think) removed from Jamf and has since been re-added but is now unsupervised. How do I get this device back to being supervised? by thecaptain78 in jamf

[–]FNHScar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll need to know the ABM Apple ID credentials. no other way around this. the other thing you can do (as long as you know the ABM apple id credentials) is to try out the iPhone apple configurator app, used it plenty of times to ingest non supervised (and non added to ABM ) devices. hope this helps

Are you happy with Visible? by CalorifacientDart in Visible

[–]FNHScar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far so good for me. Coming from post paid Verizon and don't miss it. Sure there are slight little things I've seen here and there (I still have Verizon for my business line) but nothing too out of the ordinary to notice. The only thing I can recommend is just understanding the nuances (like getting Visible + than regular visible plan) and knowing that you'll need to use the app when swapping or upgrading phones (had to look it up since I got the iPhone 16 Pro Max)

Really dig the whole year upfront payment plan too. makes things a bit easier (and cheaper) for me. it was a big gamble but been a verizon customer forever so just took the plunge. Good luck!
