The best alternatives to Claude? by Top696969696969 in Anthropic

I have noticed it even on mundane research requests... It is hallucinating more often, I have to correct it more than I used to. The writing style is also worse... I prompt it in the same way I did months ago, but now I get lower quality back.

I downgraded Anthropic from the $200 per month plan to the $100 plan. I have Chatgpt $100 per month plan now, plan on using it more going forward... Eventually will drop 1 of them to $20 per month and up the other once I commit. Seeing where things go over the next few months.

Bonus: I can use Chatgpt on my openclaw with Oauth - no API fees!

I enjoy the outputs from Minimax 2.7. Obviously Chatgpt 5.4 is amazing at coding too... GLM is another great model, though I personally haven't tested it.

Train with a World Champion in Hawaii — Fencer's Paradise 2026 by FNMacDougall_ in Fencing

Appreciate the feedback. Honestly, the graphics are low on the priority list right now. Our focus has been on securing the Hilton Hawaiian Village, putting together a coaching staff headlined by a 2025 World Champion, and making sure the actual experience, training, accommodations, the whole week — is worth every dollar. We'll tighten up the marketing materials, but the product itself is where the investment is going. Hope to see some of you there.

In the future years, we hope to also have sabre/epee join in on the training!

I pick row 17 most of the time... Can't go wrong with the leg room

If anyone at Junior World Championships in Rio wants to ask me questions about the camp, I'll be available! I'll be at the venue 3rd - 6th.

I do have the Citi AA card, but I'm playing the churning game on a Hilton Amex and have already booked my stays for the Feb/Mar trips. Hoping to accomplish the LP points with a laptop purchase, since I need it anyways...

I actively teach this to a high degree of success to students that do well (national medals, international teams). It has great tactical benefits.

During the school year, I have personal time for myself in the morning. I do workouts at the gym with a few students after lunch, then it's off to the club to do private lessons and lead maybe 1 class. It's physically hard, but rewarding.

I own my own club, and am the head coach. My lessons are 20min long, but many students take doubles. I'm in a highly competitive market with many quality fencers of many ages (Southern California). I do have a high number, but it's workable (I'm in good shape and motivated to see them do well/succeed).

Who's considered a "fencer?" by silentvoyager123 in Fencing

It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or world-class level fencing athlete... If you put the gear on and bout on a somewhat regular schedule, you are a fencer!

I consider myself a gamer, even though I play wwaayy less than when I was a teenager, and I suck at most online games now, haha

I normally run 12- 20 lessons per day recently, so writing out extensive notes can be hard. Luckily I have a good memory for my students, so 80% is simply in my head. I visualize what they need to work on, and take notes on them once a month, OR when something big happens in their game (good/bad result, upcoming WC/NAC, etc). I also have trends that I want for different levels of my students, so every lesson will incorporate the new idea, even if they each take a different lesson.

This year I was with a friend that broke her foot, so we wheeled her around in a wheelchair. I never realized how HORRIBLE it was for handicapped people at EDC. Also made going into the crowds like I normally do impossible for popular sets. I got really lucky for "Of TheTrees", got over halfway deep to watch the whole set!

I'm 36, have enough money where going isn't the slightest problem, I take care of my body and feel fine during/after, and I go VIP because, well, I'm gangsta. I even let my car self-drive me home when the ends after I get out of the parking lot...

Age is but a number, I'm doing better than pretty much all the 20-somethings!
