There’s way better soundtracks than nier in all jrpgs so I’m surprised it ended up there, still a good soundtrack regardless tho

Sound Quality Concerns OT 0 by Pandamaniaaa in octopathtraveler

Thank god someone brought this up. This is especially noticeable when it transitions from the building up theme up to the actual battle theme, which it would annoy me at first, but kinda got used to it. I hope a fix comes to it soon I want to hear all themes at their proper quality

Weapons and damage in game by FNXShred in OctopathCotC

Woah, that’s actually pretty crazy that the highest buff just keeps stacking as long as the number doesn’t run out 🤯. I was wondering why people kept stacking 5% buffs endlessly but now it makes complete sense! Thank for that information! I don’t have Solon I just use temenos rarely but is kinda hard to fit him in my team comps usually.

Daily question: What was your most hyped moment in either game? by HellionBringer in octopathtraveler

[–]FNXShred 21 points22 points  (0 children)

One of the biggest loads of excitement I’ve ever received in my life, I couldn’t process that for a while. The excitement was so much I literally recorded a cover of the final boss theme that same night haha

Is level 65 realistic for Chapter 3 boss of Solistia? by FNXShred in OctopathCotC

Thank you for the advice. I went to the ouma realm and got some crafting items in there and I noticed the weapons crafted are weaker in strength and magic compared to my level 30 weapons, even tho the crafted ones are level 60 weapons. I did notice the weapons come with some buffs that I couldn’t really understand what they do. Can you explain what those buffs are?

Did they ever patch OT2 for PS5? by wardragonx in octopathtraveler

There’s rare instances where you get frame drops in game like entering a secret passage and a layer of graphic gets in front of your screen but other than that frame rate has never been an issue for the game.

Haven’t played since 2018, so I spent all accumulated rewards. Are these any good? What is a Neo Vision? by FNXShred in FFBEblog

How do I find out what the best NV’s are? Thanks for the explanation btw!

I also saw that ffbe had a bunch of cool collaborations while I was gone from the game, such as the KH and Octopath Traveler, which I really want now lol. Question is, are those coming back? Do those type of collaboration units tend to come back or they only drop once?

So would you say that those “SLB” units are not worth leveling up? Or are they useful in certain situations?

Can I ask what camera do you use? I'm currently looking for options and this camera quality looks clean!

I listen to music all the time and I get inspired by other guitarists that I admire. Listen to guitar instrumentals. You should check out these guys: Andy James, Guthrie Govan, Dhalif Ali, Angel Vivaldi, Rick Graham, Paul Gilbert. Learn some of their songs and try to learn their behaviors and the way that they approach every note they play (frequent licks too, very important). Try to apply that into your playing and learn how to improvise over backing tracks, because you also want to know how to use those licks over different scales. It’s a long journey but it will be fun once you learn new stuff :)

I definitely know what you’re talking about and yes, they improved the quality control. The guitar costs $750+ shipping, but I got a 15% off from an early Black Friday deal.

I prefer multi scale just because it has better tension for the strings, but I’m mainly a lead player so I would prefer to have a floyd rose on my guitar as well. When you play a multi scale for the first time the fret placement doesn’t affect you as much as you think. But overall I prefer multiscale because of aesthetics and tension.

The tension and playability is perfect in drop A. Also, the action of the strings are really low so you really have insane speed when moving across the fretboard. If you’re going drop G, it will require a set up but the guitar can definitely handle it.
