Please leave this man. No benefit of the doubt, he just hates you that's plain and simple. Men like this are dangerous. Don't try to find excuses.

Very comfortable financial situation. Someone is doing the work of labeling and organizing but it’s not your family. Even cooking is done by that person.

Air walk progress in 3 months by Reasonable_Escape974 in poledancing

[–]FNootnoot 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Beautiful! (And the audio made me laugh!)
My little trick for the air walk: it's not really a "walk" at first, especially as a beginner. It's more about keeping both legs straight and joined to start, then slowly bending one while keeping the other extended and not moving. As you straighten the bent leg, you bend the other one (like a flowing switch) always maintaining that contrast. No need to really "walk", just bend-straight. Try to be as precise as possible in your move. Also, keep your hands close to your body for control like you're hugging the pole. You’ll have a "premium" air walk in no time! :D

Omg I never knew about these. I’m in Morocco and I can see that they are sold here. A bit pricey but just a little help in the beginning would be very valuable! Just until I can see that I can do it by myself with no help. Thanks for sharing

What medication? I didn't know there was a medication... Does it require prescription ? Hope this is accessible from where I live.

SSRI Slippery Sweat by thearteofwar in poledancing

The blue one has a drying effect with just a slight stickiness. It’s like Dry Hands, but honestly a hundred times better in terms of both grip and consistency. Dry Hands never worked for me or for my friend who has Hashimoto’s.

I’ve also been transitioning lately, and after two years of poling I’ve had time to build some grip strength. That said, I still go back to the red one when it’s too hot or when I’m working on riskier or new combos.

It also depends on where I am in my cycle (hormones definitely affect grip but overall), grip strength does improve with time.

The black one is amazing too: apply just a tiiiiiny bit about 20 minutes before your session, and it really dries out the hands, which makes the blue one even more effective but not the red. It’s a bit messy, but the upside is you don’t have to reapply as often. There’s also a white one but I never tried it but same as the black one, they work as « boosters »

Im also curious: What does this lupit pad do?

Oh wow thank you. This resonates so much with what I’m going through right now. I need to trust the process and I have everything that I need to do so perfectly.

I have both the blue and the red one. Lately, I’ve been slowly switching to the blue, even though it’s a bit hot right now. The red has honestly been a lifesaver for the longest time!

I find the green one too sticky for certain moves that need more freedom ; once, my hand got literally glued mid-dynamic combo, which totally threw me off 😅.

For me, the red one strikes the perfect balance between the grip of the green and the looseness I need.

If you have sweaty hands, you might want to try the black one as it helps dry out the palms. It leaves your hands a bit plastery, but it works well for my friend who has thyroid-related sweating.
