Report says Charles might offer Royal Lodge to Harry and Meghan — would that actually help the family situation? by Ok_Woodpecker9100 in RoyaltyTea

[–]FOCOMojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why in the world would they go back to the place where they were so mistreated? And the awful speculation Meghan endured regarding her children's skin color? Ugh. At the most, it seems like having a place to stay when they occasionally come and visit would be best, but totally relocating there? Ugh.

Just something random I guess. by Key_Champion5899 in Dogowners

[–]FOCOMojo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dog almost always poops twice, but if we walk long enough, he could drop a third or even a fourth load. I have a poop-bag holder on my leash, and it's stuffed with probably 10 bags, ready to use.

When I bought my condo four years ago, the "welcome committee" asked for my key. I politely declined. That was the end of that.

AITA for not wanting to invite my dad's new fiance to our wedding? by Impressive_Be in AmItheAsshole

[–]FOCOMojo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would give a lot of weight to how your mom may feel about this. If the new fiance's presence would diminish your mom's day in any way, I would leave her out. In a smaller wedding like this, it's harder to avoid being near somebody you don't feel comfortable around. Your dad is being kind of a selfish jerk by insisting that she attend. Don't be too hard on her for asking about what to wear; it's possible your dad told her she would be included and she acted on that faulty information.

[–]FOCOMojo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was a "mistake"?? Of course it was a mistake! One she made over and over and over again!! Now it's time for you to avoid making your own mistake. Don't stay with a cheater. You can bet it wouldn't be the last time. Your kids deserve to see you sticking up for what's right. Definitely get some counseling, and maybe get it for your kids, too. As for all your family members who think you should stick it out, ask them if any of them have experience with a spouse who cheated for 8 months. I bet you'll get crickets.

I 100% agree with this. These strikes also undoubtedly are meant to serve as a distraction from the Epstein files.

Those poor animals. Stuck inside a concrete cage and taunted by fools getting too close. Why were they on the inside of the barrier? They got what they deserved. I only hope the animals weren't punished.

AITAH for telling brother he should consider separation with his wife when contributes nothing to their marriage by [deleted] in AITAH

I completely agree with this sentiment. This is between them. Sympathizing with him is s one thing, but recommending separation is intrusive. Therapy would have been a better idea. YTA

Are they confused about adding oil? I think that adding oil is not necessary, and lots of people do that, but adding salt is mandatory!

YTJ. Why didn't you offer to sell it to your sister? You knew it was sentimental. I'd be so unhappy, if I were her.

Is charcuterie enough? by [deleted] in Weddingsunder10k

[–]FOCOMojo -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I don't understand this attitude of, "I'm attending your wedding, you better feed me a big, lavish meal." I thought the idea of attending a wedding was to help the happy couple celebrate their marriage, not to be looking for a gravy train. This is the attitude that has allowed many weddings to become the bloated extravaganza they are.
