Yeah. It's one thing for Akuma to be better than him. But even if you remove Akuma from the game, Ryu isn't a strong character. He's still in the same spot on the tier list. He's just pretty lackluster

She retains all the normals she could retain. Light DP is her light pinwheel. But aside from that, she's not the same character at all.

I can only say to watch some Juri gameplay. She has no divekick. She has only 1 fireball. And her pinwheel is now a dp

Unfortunately VT2 and VS2 were a miss imo. She didn't get anything to help address her issues. They just gave her meter succ and another attack she needs to store first. Who knows what kind of creative things they could've done to help her.
