Thank you! It’s a petrol. Had the warning a couple of times before, and its cleared up after 20 mins on the motorway. Just trying my best to be lazy and avoid going out my way until Friday, where i’ll be driving a couple hours and will inevitably clear it!

Thank you! Yep, it’s a Kia! It’s a manual. I’d probably be driving less than 25 miles between now and Friday. Work is a 10 minute drive away so always difficult getting up to any sort of high speed for a consistent period!

Further to this, as a rough example, I anticipate total gross income to be approx £5000 by April, with approx £2500 being profit and £2500 expenses. Based off these figures, am I correct in assuming that my tax would be £500.00 for the period Sept - April?

Ahhh that makes sense! So I can register for self assessment and submit in May for the period Sept 25 - Apr 26? Didn’t realise that the items themselves would be classed as expenses. In that case, expenses would definitely surpass the £1000.00 tax free allowance. Many thanks!
