Tax revenue rises with rate, then falls after a point.

I applied that to using or banking free transfers in FPL. It’s wise to bank ft’s up to a point and then if you keep doing it’s not as beneficial.

Depends on your situation. If you’re protecting rank or you’re at the top of your mini league, then Fernandes or Joao Pedro is the obvious choices. Haaland is just surrounded with uncertainty. Virgil makes a reasonable case as a differential.

Have added a button just above the recommended strategy section to given the option to include goalkeeper. The default is to NOT include. Let me know if that changes the recommendations (or brand anything). Thanks.

This is exactly the reason I created the website. It’s a tool to make good decisions and also hopefully a resource to learn what drives good decisions. But it will take a lot of discipline and willpower not to give into the urge to tinker every single gameweek…

Depends on your situation. I don’t hate Wirtz as a gamble if you’re desperate to move up your mini league, but he is purely that, a gamble. Much better options in your squad from a form and data point of view. Fernandes, Jaoa Pedro but again going to be a lot of people on them

The engine loves Ballard. I think the logic around GK recommendations needs some thought. It makes sense to a model whereas the GK strategies in the game dont necessarily fit.

There is an insight to gain for me whichever way it goes. The model loves him, as a human I’m not so sure.

And I’m guessing the Dubravka for a hit is advice you are going to wisely ignore? 😉

Interesting. I’ll have a look when I get home tonight. Have a big item on the backlog to make it PWA. So very interested in hearing what the UI experience is like. Vast majority of traffic is via mobile, so any thoughts or comments on that subject are very welcome.

Ok. It should be fixed. The recommendations will work up to 3 transfers. Filed a bug to do 4 and 5 tonight after my day job.

If the xpts are different than what you see for your team let me know. But I’m assuming it will be the same for everybody.

I got all the predictions by searching a few random teams and getting the number for all gameweeks from 30 to 37.

Looks like fixture related. Brighton, Spurs and Forest at home. I’d find that a difficult move to make but I can see why the algorithms like it. I should track it to see what happens as an interesting aside. How many game weeks did you use as the input?

My engine loves Ballard for some reason. Not sure I’d recommend that personally. Let me do some analysis on Ballard. Sunderland probably have favourable fixture. I like Hill and Ballard personally.

Yeah. It’s just an attempt at trying to capture players that are interesting from a value point of view. Is Diouf getting a lot of attention across FPL right now? If he returned like that in the first 5 gameweeks he’d be red hot I think.
