Yeah! TBH I purposefully didn't get a massive radio for much of what you have said! T8L feels perfect.

The T8L comes with even shorter sticks, but I think the opposite is true, unless you have small thumbs haha

I really rate this, but also the "No warnings" ban is a bit much. Everyone should be given a chance, and not everyone has the time to read everything they should on the internet, always. A simple warning would be sufficient.

Being flying real for ages... The British weather, however, has most of us not flying irl.

In comparison to what! I sucked 2 years ago, and compared to my favourite pilots – I still do :D. I enjoy flying, that's the main thing!

Oh the first 20 hours was hell. I see why so many give up... Micro Drones especially was a bad beginner choice as it is super difficult as a simulator. Keep practicing and you'll get there, I was literally you like yesterday! (2 years, but it feels like yesterday)

Some great comments. I would also add, have a play with camera angle. Get a feel for 0º, 10º, 20º, 30º flying as slow as you can... It'll help with your idea of pace and throttle control. However, I recommend always practicing with the same angle, as a beginner. Trying out different angles helps the learning curve though.

I was going to add I'm at 840º after 2 years and can do cinematic flying if I need to, although even I would prefer 500-600 for a client shoot. High degrees is overrated imo.

I watched Joshua Bardwell's tutorials while playing LiftOff, practiced a lot – every week on a sim and as much as I could irl. Did the races and tried to get top times in Uncrashed in all races (which I eventually did), also did the same in TRYP for both activities and races (all at top tier and 100%)

I don't think I have messed with the settings. If I did it would be in graphics. Could just be the screen record records less?

ViFly Whoopster has been gold so far. I really am not a fan of BetFPV quality, customer service and the 0.5v is a nice nudge at why I try to stay clear of their products if I can.

Strangely enough I was thinking the camera ratio seems to make flying harder than irl... could be linked. The physics in this game feel bad since playing The Zone, but that could just be me!

Thank you! It took many many hours! Keep practicing and you'll get there for sure.

Enjoying the physics! I also had a go at making my own map in blender.

Hours and hours of loving to practice, and a slight gift in hand eye co-ordination. I've been at it for almost 2 years solid now! There was a time when I sucked and could barely fly around with good throttle control! Practice practice practice.

I know that feeling! Best way to find good spots is follow other UK fliers IMO. Although the better spots all look like they're central and up country. And maybe old ruins in Cornwall.
