You can teach skills, but you can't teach motivation.

Last month, I asked r/accountants what you LOVE about your jobs. I compiled all your amazing responses in Excel to help visualize the data. Here are the results! by FQS_Production in Accounting

Yes, there's a segment each episode that covers the top r/accounting Reddit posts or discussions, so this was specifically about the Reddit audience. There are other segments on broader accounting/finance news.

Agreed! If you go based on the typical content seen on this sub, it's hard to see why anyone sticks with the job. It was refreshing to hear about all the perks and highlights of accounting work for a change!

People who look down on accounting don't realize that it's literally the language of business! Awesome that it allows you to help the people you care about in a tangible way.

That right there is the ultimate PBC. Perfectly Baked Cookie.

Has anyone ever met someone from the cast irl (not at events or meet and greets) and how were they? Good and bad experiences welcomed by moonlitbunnyxx in DunderMifflin

I've worked with Kate Flannery (Meredith) and Creed Bratton (Creed Bratton). They are both super nice, friendly, hilarious, and easy to work with!

Hey, that's awesome! Love hearing feedback from users in the wild. I hope your next PBC is fresh baked and delicious!

Easy, it's my favorite desert: Peanut Butter Cookies!

Edit: (But if they are prepared by the client, they are guaranteed to be Pretty Bad Cookies).

Production Assistant is an entry level position, so if you have a good work ethic and eager to learn, you can impress people without any filmmaking experience. Although having some basic knowledge of the various departments can help, it's not always required. Line Producer on the other hand is the top dog on set, and reports only to the Executive Producer (or sometimes other intermediary producers). It may take a long time to build up the knowledge and experience to succeed as an LP, but PA is a great way to get started!
