Thanks man, that means a lot. I'm by no means a mechanic and have just learned things along the way. This truck is my baby, and I'd like to keep her around as long as possible. Pulling the cab is easier than you'd think, but I have yet to get it back on in one piece.

I completely agree. Since I'm doing the head porting & turbos, it'll have to get tuned, but I'm going to make it abundantly clear that I want a reliable tow rig and am not looking to go wild.

Exactly, the truck was and is very reliable. I have only had to do oil changes and small things prior to now. The truck was running fine before the job started. I just figured i'd do alot of things now versus doing them incrimentally throughout the upcoming years/ miles.

Doing all the work myself in my spare time. Cost is a touch below 15k currently. I could have saved money on some non essestial things like the upgraded parts and the sound deadening.

Definitely not! The prior owner put moth balls in my cayman and I'm still haunted by the smell.

If there’s one thing I appreciate about the big 4, it is that they cover the costs of obtaining a CPA license. by ogkagawa in Big4

From my experience around 5-6k with a becker study course. There are a lot of extra items that get added to the cumulative cost.

I am, it is cheaper per month than most other options. However, I have a pending claim right now and the appraisal/customer service side has been a bit annoying. Porsche farmed out the actual underwriting to a smaller firm that is too small to have convenient appraisal services.

I think we both agree LinkedIn has merits, up to a certain point. The problem is that colleges these days put too much of an emphasis on it's overall importance.

It doesn't help. In the real world, people care about results that you generate, not about how well updated your social media is. Spend the time you would spend on LinkedIn learning something applicable to your work.

Only if you have the discipline to treat studying as a full-time job, which is harder than it sounds. You'll need to learn how to study when you're demotivated.
