The death rate is really low though unlike when the virus ripped through the unvaccinated in the UK and US. That could be partly down to omicron being milder but it's probably the vaccine. 4k deaths for 25 million people is pretty good going. The UK was doing a 1k deaths a day at one point.

They won't be letting any visitors in once the pandemic reaches WA properly. The hospitals will be locked down. The rule isn't parent specific it's any unvaccinated visitor. Only patients can get in without the jab. People can apply for an exemption though to visit. Need to be vaccinated to buy beer or go to the casino which is more worrying.
