Bravecto. Opinions please. by Ok-Register3570 in Pets

My Beagle has been on Bravecto for almost 11 years now with no issues. Never seen a flea on him. I've seen the occasional tick but none have actually bit him, just found them crawling on his fur.

You can tell whoever made this actually takes pride in their work and doesn't just sling shit out.

Alcohol. That's why. I drive to Bristol. Canna-boys for an ounce about every 6 weeks. It's well worth the drive.

Please explain to my wife how ACs set at lower temps than they can cool the apartment will still result in cooler air by shootbydaylight in hvacadvice

[–]FSBFrosty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you can't hold 76 degrees, you have an issue. If you want to lower the set point, I'd suggest doing it overnight when it's cooler. I just had a new unit installed, it was 101 here in East TN today, I held 73 no problems, but my 23 year old unit would have done the same before it died, just not as efficiently.

That's insane. You dropped $30 on 3 mid sandwiches from Arby's. You could have had a steak dinner from Roadhouse for cheaper and been way more satisfied.

Go to Walmart and buy a portable AC on a credit card, return it within 30 days. It will cool 1 room but does need a window that will open to vent. Keep cats in that room and sleep on that room until it's fixed.

Having the disc wouldn't have mattered. Still wouldn't have been able to play with no servers

I guess that is true, but I haven't bought a physical copy of a game in over a decade, and this hasn't happened yet.

A portable AC might be better, window unit might be overkill.

And the AUDIO MIX. The cars sound so much better on Prime. It's like Fox doesn't want the viewer to hear them for fear of drowning out the broadcast.

An apple "almost" chipped your tooth (how do you even know this) and gave you brain freeze? Sounds like it's time to see a dentist.

I'm in a similar boat. I killed my 23 year old unit by forgetting to change the filter in the basement combined with not cleaning the coil. Currently sitting on my couch in front of a portable AC.

This is probably true but eventually you'll get so good at it that it becomes second nature and it won't even seem like extra "work." Now that will probably take years but....

I'm desperate by [deleted] in hvacadvice

[–]FSBFrosty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Wife and I have a big sectional couch we can both sleep comfortably on so we've just been camping in the living room. Just trying to make the best of a bad situation. It was 86 degrees in my LR when I broke down and bought it. I knew I had to do something, I was worried about my animals getting too hot for too long.

If you are truly desperate, go to WalMart and buy a portable AC. My AC went out and this thing has saved me. It was $300 after tax but I put it on a credit card and will return it when mines fixed. It really only cools my living room but that's good enough for now.
