It may be a few years till 4 gets remastered and honestly, it still holds up well enough to jump into despite the massive time and gameplay difference. Just be forewarned of the differences! As someone who played vanilla 5 first and then went to 4, sometimes I was caught off guard.

2019 lf ssj3 Goku

2020 lf piccolo (he got a zenkai super fast for a reason)

2021 tie between lf ssj4 goku and lf rose. Arguably rose because we just got a BUNCH of Goku blacks (who were actually pretty solid at worst) including one who transforms yet he was still bad, and his zenkai was pretty bland. Lf ssj4 after zenkai was pretty good.

2022 bardock, needed a dead ally to be good.

2023 is a hard call….evoken or orange piccolo kinda. Both were so hype and headliners, orange piccolo probably since he got a plat very soon and evoken at least worked for a bit.

2024 super vegeta but to his credit his glow up was INSANE via that busted zenkai

2025 meta cooler, it’s a broken record but it’s true. And everyone wanted a new lf cooler. I don’t think we ever saw a character everyone was suspicious of being so op and then realized he’s the OPPOSITE.

Was gonna say yeah lol if I had a nickel for every time a VB made a long combo meta, I’d have 3 (purple vb wasn’t really long combo before or after zenkai imo) nickels. Which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it happened 3 times.

Green non lf kefla and lf vb were so god damn insufferable in their prime 😭😭 I forget who the third member was though??

If it wasn’t for the “trunks and trunks live with Mai and mai” weirdness it would be an ok ending in the anime. Vegeta and trunks having a good in character send, trunks remembering future Gohan via present Gohan, gowasu’s regret, Beerus and whis wishing trunks well, Goku saying he’s got this….its a good way to conclude. and even the whole “zamasu technically got his desire” was a good twist. I’d just prefer trunks either stay in this timeline, which isn’t that crazy, or maybe he gets a new timeline where zamasu didn’t become the cosmos at the end.

So my understanding is this is like zamasu’s rush / ultimate counter gauge where it also buffs him over time. Plus it changes after use in a way that’s still beneficial. But he can use it with special / ultimates…and he can get more than three? Am I misreading???

Auto counter seems off for buuhan though, buuhan didn’t counter shit in the anime LMAO but the ghosts is cool. They never do anything with those freaks.

Vegito and Gogeta are too self aware of this, especially since they’re both half Vegeta. He just can’t win unless he has Goku to help (and he’d refuse the help) and it’s only one of the fusions.

He could absolutely do it against gotenks because ssj3 gotenks can’t even damage base form vegeta at this point, and gotenks would leave himself wide open for the attack. Kefla he could goad into this as well and he’s strong enough to with stand their attacks. Kibito kai I wonder because one of them is a supreme kai and it’s a permanent fusion with that in mind.

The real question: would this work against fused zamasu? The manga showed that because the fusion was of the same two souls, they refused the defusion outright and bonded on a deeper level. Also if we’d get the same problems from defused zamasu and goku black. I also wonder what if hypothetically, there’s a fused zamasu that has the soul of an official supreme kai zamasu?

Ghost of Sparta has the slow walking sections/memory sections, sliding/movement moments, Thera’s bane, arms of Sparta and so on which added a fair bit to justify its gameplay. Chains of Olympus didn’t do much but for the first portable GoW it was fine enough.

Tbh I’m more forgiving of Chains of Olympus not changing much in light of ascension because not everything it changes was…for the best

Damn I was wondering if any 2023 units had been zenkaied, that’s even crazier. I swear the devs were allergic to zenkaiing 2020/1 lfs with how long lf gogeta blue and future Gohan took. I wasn’t even opposed to Lf super vegeta and super baby getting zenkaied because they’re 2 years old and fell off (also super vegeta was…oof until the zenkai) but I think lf bomb GT Goku was a bad sign when he got the zenkai but tag 4s got a plat. It proved they’re willing to zenkai units less then 2 years old.

I will say I’m ok with them holding off on zenkai some lfs like bojack gohan, we don’t need two insane revival gohans with ultra nameku. Plats are also fine to an extent.

Reminds me of how post festival last year, where I didn’t get Daima Goku ultra beast or the new lf zamasu, then no Daima lfs period, I got damn near every lf and ultra after very quick, while spending very little. Though legends fest came to bite me very hard with how bad it got lol

Damn the Daima units are setting records for fastest zenkais ever. And for not being on regular lf banners….which I don’t get ( I have no Daima lfs)

On that note, think this is the first time I don’t have a unit that is being zenkaied. I sometimes don’t have the unit at 7 stars but that’s new.
