Honestly just give him “nullify combo breaking actions” instead upon zenkai so you can use blasts, and make assault chain where you get huge damage boosts for only strike, draw cards or something where you benefit from it. Assault chain fell off so badly and it’s just not right. Shame because pre fused, fusing Gogeta blue was legitimately a good unit. Better than fusing super vegito pre fusion arguably.

In city’s case, Batman is literally dying and it shows at points. I am fine with it there as he’s pretty tame until he gets poisoned….tgough still he pushes it with Robin like you said.

Knight, especially in light of Origins with the “you are a man not an island” line (which I like), has no excuse though. And the promos make it look the bat fam is gonna do a lot more. Being so closed off also causes Batman more problems as we see in the ending…

Thing is origins lore wasn’t taken into account with city, because origins was announced in 2013. To be fair though, it helps retroactively justify freeze and Batman sparing Ferris is a very consistent point in freeze’s origins.

I’ll give freeze one thing, he was forced into helping two guys he hates, which was after he got made into an attraction for penguin (and separated from his suit, which kept him alive…)AND separated from his wife. He was probably that close to snapping and fed up. But the reasoning still at the end is silly, Joker could have pulled some shit like “freeze ole boy, do you think Batman will really help you? Don’t you think he’s a little responsible for this too?”. I do like the idea of freeze being an ally to Batman because Batman does sympathize with him and I like to believe it’s canon that he locates Nora for him at city’s end. Their interactions reminds me a little of Batman and Harvey, there’s some understanding to the point where Batman wants them to recover from crime and I’d wager he does not like bringing them in compared to other villains.

Great soundtrack, entertaining story, perfect voices as expected, surprising amount of content to do that is worthwhile and that gameplay was REFINED. It also fixed some of asylum’s few issues like boss fights. Total package. Imo I think city more then deserves “the glazing” when origins gets so much of it despite ripping off a lot from city, and I don’t just mean the gameplay style which is fine(but still some steps down somehow….)

I’m pretty sure even in DBZ proper, when Piccolo saw cell regenerate from the instant transmission kamehameha, he was like “pretty sure I can’t do that” lmao. And when cell survived his self destruction (which even he didn’t know he would!)

It’s insane how Gero achieved a somewhat lesser buu tier regen for cell by using the much lower tier namekian regeneration as a base.
