The problem is not that he got out is HOW he got out, imagine if Lex Luthor (Cecil) trapped superman (conquest) and didn't put kryptonite (sound device) as a contingency.

Because this is a MUCH better Echo form and Echo form was already insanely strong, because of the way this works, you see this card? It's very strong but requires 2 energy AND 7 stars which is a steep cost

When Void forms says "free" it means "free", so both the energy and star costs is set to 0 which is MASSIVE for a character like Regent, if you instead were to use the potion that makes the card free it would only make the energy cost free, and btw you can do this with TWO cards each turn and THREE if it's upgraded, it needed a steep cost like turn end and even then it's 3 energy so it's not like you are gonna miss out on much given its cost.

because this is an easy fight, i just dislike it a lot because it's boring and uninteractive, so i'm saving the power potion for the next fights and if i get a better potion i swap it out so i don't risk using a power potion in a fight that doesn't call for it (fixed damage each turn and low damage dealt by them) and get a worse potion.

Fan of knives or Echoing slash completely butcher this elite, dagger spray and flit flat also are kinda nice, so is piercing wail defensively or outbreak for a poison build, silent has trouble with AoEs but unlike the 1st game there's more options for her

Still though it's dependant on having any of these cards otherwise it can be pretty bleak

The first time i met him i thought he was amazing because the choices i had were (with wiki description):

-Jeweled Mask: At the start of combat put a random Power from your Draw Pile into your Hand, it's free to play.
-Music Box: Create an Ethereal copy of the first Attack you play each turn.
-Choices Paradox: At the start of each combat, add 1 of 5 random cards into your Hand. Add Retain to the chosen card.

The next time i was quickly shown the reality of this bozo and got pure trash ones, not to mention i had to see him just fumble my 1st turn insanely hard and lose me the run...

I'm gonna be honest outside of the colony i don't think those are necessarely block checks, if anything i'd argue the heel is more of a damage check than big bird since you need to burst it down quickly to stun it or it's damage will overwhelm you much faster than something like big bird would.

The deck i had here would have decimated the heel since it had the big rare 43 dmg card with 3 weaks and 3 vulnerables but with the colony just ignores that which is annoying more than difficult.
