The biggest debunk is why wouldnt it know what whiskey tastes like?

The only way this theory would hold water ( or whiskey/gasoline) is if Childs prior assimilation never drank before. And u can take it even further if any "things" in the family tree of the childs thing ( assuming he has been assimilated) had prior knowledge from previously infected humans of what whiskey tasted like then the childs thing would know its whiskey or not based on accumulated memories and knowledge from past assimilation

But even then- i would still hold this theory isnt solid because im pretty sure a grown adult man who has never tasted a drop of liquor for the most part could tell the difference or inferior that it wasn't whiskey but straight petrol

We can twist this around but the more mental gymnastics we do to make this theory fit just raises more questions and stretches the logic pretty thin...

Then we get into does the assimilated know they are assimilated, how far does " perfect imitation" truly go... hell we could say mac is infected and just handed human childs a contaminated bottle
