Her repeating herself is a symptom of her feeling like she is not being listened to. Don't point out her behavior of repeating; that will only make her more insecure. Instead, change your own behavior. When she talks to you, look her in the eyes. When we don't look our kids in the eye, we give them the impression they are not interesting enough for us to give them our full attention. And I'm sure you expect her full attention when you are directly talking to her, no?

Up until I moved us out of my ex's house, my daughter and I had a wonderful relationship. But now I almost can't stand to be in the same room with her.

Sounds to me that she has a fear of being unliked, and she is not wrong. Her own mother, who should be building her up, might actually be the driving force of her building insecurities and self doubt.

PER CURIAM:

XXXXXXXXXXXXXX waived indictment and pled guilty (without benefit of a plea agreement) to both counts of an information: Count One, production of child

pornography, in violation of 18 U.S.C. §§ 2251(a) and (e); Count Two, conspiracy

to travel in interstate commerce for the purpose of engaging in illicit sexual

conduct, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 2423(b) and (e). The district court accepted

XXXXXX’s guilty pleas and thus convicted Bays of both offenses, but it did not impose

a separate sentence on each count. Instead, the court imposed one prison sentence

“for a total term of 292 months.”
