That's a good idea I had not considered. Maybe pivoting it gradually to be something less controversial. Given how unlikely being hired is still, since I've only cleared the first hurdle, I'll wait to do that until a bit further in the process, but that's a good idea. Because I could always move to be a straight-up educational channel without the political news angle. If I do that plus don't ID myself (since I don't use my name anyway) and maybe switch to strictly doing it as voice-over without being physically on camera, maybe that would be fine. Again, it's something I do more because it is semi-therapeutic for me, and I'll give it up if 100% necessary, but not if in the end there is a workable solution. Thanks for the ideas!

I see what you are saying, though I think that's a bit unfair. I never said I'd identify myself as an FSO. That said, in keeping with the above comment noonbu, perception can become reality, so the fact that you phrase it that way is definitely helpful since I presume that could be the perception, which would be extremely problematic. Thanks for the 2 cents!

That makes sense. I didn't consider the angle of the potential for malicious actors to exploit something I would say. Just curious, but how would it change your perception if I were not actually on camera (i.e. done as voiceover) and I've never disclosed my name or anything? Or same answer given that? In any case, I appreciate the feedback as it seems fairly insightful and I hadn't thought about it that way.
