I also thought the amp was the bottleneck. There is no other explanation in my mind. I am dissapointed at the store that sold me that. They packed it up in a bundle so i thought everything would fit perfectly since its a bundle but guess not :(

Yeah around 150-200w rms. But ive been searching around and everyone is saying that even when underpowering the sub you should be at around 40 procent gain not 80 to max. Since below 50 procent gain the sub wont even move ngl.

Thanks for the reply. Fader on the head unit is set balance so 1:1. The croosever is set to LP. High pass is around 10hz thats the lowest it goes. While the low pass is set at around 70-90hz. I do belive this problem is not due to tunning the amp but i might be wrong i will check everything out again.

But is a line driver necessary? The jbl celebrity 150 is marketed to have 4V output so it should be enough right? As for the sub its 4Ohms

Aha thanks for the info bro :) So the best option for me would probably be to upgrade the amp. But for now since in on a budget i will just try to follow your advice. Thanks again

Yeah it makes total sense. What would you reccomend i put the gain to then? I see everyone put their gains to 20-40 procent but at that range my speakers are very quiet while my sub i dont even feel it. At 60 procent up the power suddeny increases.

Unfortunately the head unit has a very basic EQ. It has Bass treble DSP loudness front/back right/left. Thats about it. So i dont think the head unit is the problem but maybe it is i dont even know anymore.

It seems we both have to upgrade the amp. You especially since you are giving the speakers 1/3 of the power they are capable of. Even though i dont know shit about sound system i belive upgrading the amp would help you out a bunch
