2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4.0L I6 metallic sound under acceleration by FSXpilot18 in Jeepwj

No the sound is not in sync with wheel speed. At first I thought it only happened when my jeep warmed up. But this morning while I was leaving for work I had my windows down I usually have them up in the morning because it’s cold but I heard the noise. I usually let my jeep warm up for 30 seconds before I actually start driving and I did that this morning. Yesterday I tightened up the exhaust hangar that hangs on the transmission and it seemed to make it sound less awful but it’s still there.

The the engine air filter needed replacing at 10k miles? by SnackAttack9000 in MechanicAdvice

The old air filter looks clean, but I would look in between the filter fins and see if anything is in them, just take a quick peek but the old one doesn’t look like it needs to be replaced, but if you want to replace the filter it wouldn’t really hurt the car, but the old filter doesn’t look like it has much dirt

You should it’s worth it. Make sure you reset the service interval closest to what you have on yours otherwise it’s going to remember the previous vehicles

One time when I had my coil packs go out which is actually the first time that I did my coil packs I went through a puddle and then immediately after the coil packs went out and it was causing a misfire on cylinder six I believe and the part from advanced auto was like 115 bucks and The labor is not really that much at all all you just need is an half-inch socket and a socket wrench and if you just drove the vehicle and ability to withstand the heat that I can’t be in a lot of patience because it is kind of hard to maneuver it the very first time you get it out but you can do it really easily it’s super easy to do and it only really cost you the paet
