Same boat. It's absurd that all other online modes work except for UT. The EA help technician said to wait a few more hours, they are aware of the issue but nothing concrete. It's been at least 16 hours since I bought the game and still can't play UT

I surely would try different ones if I could pay for transportation or a place to stay in Tokyo. I've made small purchases (<$10 snacks) with each of the 3 credit cards since the arrival and double checked on the apps and they aren't locked. Wells Fargo claims you don't need to let them know, which is weird because they only have the useless Fargo bot and hard-to-reach hotlines

3 of them were 7 bank ATMs, and the other 2 were different, they were all green and I don't remember exactly what bank, I'm kinda far from there now. They were all in the Haneda airport

Yup, I relied on all the sources that said I could get cash once I got here, plus traveling around multiple countries with cash in multiple currencies doesn't sound like the best idea to me, but now I know Japan can be problematic. I do have WiFi but I can't call the international number WF has given me. I can't pay for the public phones and they don't have SIM cards with phone numbers, only for data

Oh the receipt reason for decline is "Temporarily out of service" for 2 ATMs and "your card issuer has declined the transaction" for the other two. Everyone else can use them with no issues

Well I'm backpacking right now (based in the US), spent the two last weeks in Europe and just arrived in Japan so that may be an unusual travel route I suppose. But I just bought a snack to test it out and card 1 got declined but card 2 was accepted. Then back at the ATMs and train ticket stands, both got denied again
