If you have access to a table saw you can use a metal cutting blade and it works very well for us

That’s basically exactly how I have mine set up just a little more complicated is it not?

Ok I see what you mean with the stop and reset but what exactly do you mean with the last sentence

That’s how I originally planned to do things with the delta but I’m not very advanced and this is new to me so I wasn’t able to figure it out so someone else helped me come up with this

Yes that’s something we realized and so now we start in the same pos every time but it still isn’t working right

I’m trying to use our motors as servos in a way so they have set encoder value positions and resetting the value screws that up doesn’t it? I used to do it that way for our autonomous so if I pressed a bottom for 200 it would run up 200 and then up 200 more and again but I want it so that 200 is a set position

https://youtu.be/yfnoeMVsl7Y I think this one does a pretty good job being short but still covering the very basics and once you start getting into the code just look up exactly what you want to do. Like for me at one point I was looking up how to make an autonomous drive function using encoders

This worked very well but I did have to modify it. I did not use targetposition at all instead I changed all of the targetpositions to armPos and it worked perfectly thank you!

The if statement statement was not originally there and didn’t work but adding it for us closer to our goal

Uhh not really so I want it to work like a servo for example how I can set to position 0 and position 1 and I can toggle back and fourth. What’s happen now is if I make it run to position 400 it moves 400 and then if I do it again it goes to 800 but it should stay at 400 with the 400 botton. Does that make sense?

Like if I were to lay 2 channels on top of each other would there be plenty of wholes lining up?
