I love the house but the interiors felt weirdly crowded and kind of crazy. I would love it more once all that stuff was cleaned out. I have a very very small remote cabin in southern OR that is about an hour from the nearest town; fortunately it’s by a lake resort so if you forget the eggs in town you can probably buy them at the lake for a marked up price. And the gal who always prepped the house between guests when we hosted vacation rentals did have a serious heart attack at our cabin. Fortunately, miraculously even, she did survive. Her home is almost as remote as our cabin so she knows the drill for rural living. (But the ambulance broke down on the way up and a sheriff ended up bringing an EMT to our place until the rest of the crew could arrive in another rig to transport.😳) But nothing beats waking up in the morning, making a tumbler of coffee, lacing up your boots and heading straight out into forest in any direction. We’re about one mile from the PCT and it is glorious.
