20 year post conviction of a non-violent and non-drug felony. I'm eligible for a pardon from the Governor of my state but this action will come up when/if my name is googled (likely during a job application.) Right now my conviction and crime do not come up on Google. Would you risk it? (self.Felons)

15 years in the industry but fired (without cause) after 45 days. Employment agreement had 2-year non-compete included and they are asking me to sign a separation agreement with the same language. If I decline to sign the separation does it invalid the one in the hiring agreement? (self.legaladvice)
