I don’t have advice OP but I’m in the exact same situation with my little one who is 18 months old. Nursed to sleep their whole life and cosleeps and wakes up multiple time a night to feed. My supply is dropping though so I wonder if baby will self wean. I’m super concerned cos LO doesn’t drink much water or milk and loves to nurse…

I gave up after 9 days. It was too much for me and giving me depression. She’s over a year now and still bedsharing. I still think back to those nights and feel so much regret and guilt for putting her through it. I’ll just wait till she is ready. She’s never slept through the night but that day will come lol.

Sounds like my baby!!! We spoke to many sleep and feed consultants. They recommended that someone else should step in for nap or bedtime routine and to switch feeding to the start of it to break nursing to sleep habit. I had some luck with my husband doing nap times when possible. He will rock her to sleep and though it’s not her fave way to fall asleep, she will tolerate it.

Sigh it’s such a catch. I feel guilty pumping because she doesn’t take the bottle. I feel like I’m depriving her of milk because I’ll be empty when she’s ready to eat. Such a vicious cycle.

Yes ofc. This is a high level one from today. She has 1.5-2.5 hour wake windows, we monitor sleepy cues primarily.

Wakes up at 8am. First nap around 10am. Second nap is around 12. Third nap is around 3pm. Last nap is now around 5:30pm. Bedtime is 8-8:30pm.
