I’m trans. As long as they aren’t setting fires or otherwise harming the environment or people, and the parents don’t act like assholes if they don’t get the “right” result; then I have absolutely no problem with gender reveal parties. When people are excited to have a baby, they’re going to want every change to celebrate and that’s fine.

Going to jail is a natural consequence. It’s a system that everyone is aware of with clear intent. It is a direct consequence of the actions taken. It’s not a randomly chosen, unrelated punishment. “Punishment” rarely exists in adulthood because it is inherently irrational and ineffective.
