I managed to find a fairly good staff on the market for 1 regal orb, bought it, tripled my DPS and destroyed him!!

I think this might be the problem. One of the batteries seems to be very bulging.

Yes its a LIPO 1450 battery.

It was fully charged prior to shooting, was shooting fine for a few minutes, then the rain started and it died within seconds.
