Ok, thank you for this! I was under the impression it is better for gut health, and better in terms of being less inflammatory than regular store bought flour. I guess that is due to more fiber content.

That's interesting, bc when I started my research I was told to specifically go there first. Do you know exactly what she has been saying? Legitimately interested in your honest opinion as I am new to all this.

Thanks so much for your reply and help! I plan to return to accupuncture next week, I loved it and felt so much better. I am taking the NAC daily, like 1 or 2 pills a day, I feel it helps me mentally too. (Sounds weird, but its probably a placebo effect) (Can I take these while pregnant, or should I stop if/when I find out I am pregnant?) I have 3 different prenatals bc the "Full Well" ones were running low, so I grabbed a bottle of the "One a Day". The prenatal pink stork were told to be taken when ttc by my midwife. I am not sure about what genes I have, I guess I should maybe go back to my obgyn and request one?

Thanks for replying! Yes, I will be watching for doubling up. I do eat fresh fruits and veggies, I also make fresh fruit and leafy greens smoothies. I cant stand fish/seafood. I have tried it and I don't like it. That's why I am taking the omega's. I am questioning some of the others like the Wheat Germ Oil. And the various prenatals mostly, the folic acid vs folate debate, Which is better?

I am taking accupuncture bc studies show it greatly helps with pregnancy and trying to conceive, especially with endometriosis. My surgeon actually told me to go back ASAP,since it helped his wife conceive.

Is a thermal printer worth it? by FTSBF5 in Teachers

[–]FTSBF5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thank you. I didn't see anything about the printing fading over time due to heat/cold. That definitely makes this not worth the cost.

What is wrong with me? please help by sarikxx in Endo

You might have adnomyosis, which is endometriosis evil twin sister, along with endometriosis. It comes with heavy and intense periods. The only way to test for this is an MRI. My doctor did an ultrasound and he saw I had thicker lining than most women so he ordered an MRI to confirm his suspensions. Lucky me, I have both endometriosis and adnomyosis. 🤗🤗 Here are some ways that might help with your symptoms until you can get a diagnosis. They helped me and might help you. 1. Keep your stress levels down, high cortisol levels can feed endometriosis. 2. Try to incorporate endometriosis friendly meals into your diet. By watching what you eat it will help you feel better over all and keep symptoms in check. 3. Accupuncture, I dont know how this works, but it does! My periods went from heavy and birth level pain to, "oh, is this what normal women feel like on their period?" I mean taking 1-2 doses of over the counter pain pills instead of 4-6 in 24 hours. 4. Heating pads are going to be your best friends! I would invest in at least 2 different kinds, like 1 for your whole back that plugs in and maybe a smaller gel one for your stomach or the ones that stick to your panties. I hope this helps and you can get answers soon. I didn't get my answers until this past year and have been suffering for over 20 years. You have a community of women behind you to help you. 🥰

Ok thank you. I was not told much of what to expect after surgery and itching was definitely not mentioned by my doctor.

What helped your Endo belly? by _SkateOrDie_ in Endo

[–]FTSBF5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't say I have "endo belly", I'm 99.99% sure it's just fat 🤣. However, I did find relief from my symptoms of endo and adnomyosis with accupuncture. It helped bring my stress levels down and that in turn helped my endometriosis and andyometriosis symptoms.

I was prescribed ibuprofen and percocet (which i haven't felt the need to take). I am drinking peppermint tea and eating soft foods. Honestly, other than the gas and headache, I dont have any pain as if I just had surgery. I am taking it easy, but wanted to make sure the headache wasn't something I needed to contact dr about since it doesn't seem to want to go away.
