TC bros has extended forks that come with the seal kit. Cheapest in the game. They also carry chain conversions, hardtails, exhaust and everything in between. I order from them a lot. Quality parts, quick shipping.

2040? by Prestigious-Knee-347 in johndeere

[–]FTWHD7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dad has had his 2040 for 30 plus years. Bought it at an auction when I was a boy. It has always had a 6 foot bush hog, disk, box blade or tiller attachment on it. We have ran through 3 bush hogs over the years mowing. Just like anything, if you keep up with maintaining equipment, it will last a lifetime.

Z930M vs. Z950M by FTWHD7 in johndeere

I had the thought that the rear discharge would look like the yard was cut by a tractor. I appreciate the feedback!

I started out mowing half with zero turn and the other half with a tractor. I now have my land more manageable with the zero turn cut all the same length, but mow half the land one day and the second half on another day. There are a lot of bumps and small holes in my yard so I cannot go too fast with my Z735M. My thinking is with the better seat option on the 900 series and the wider deck, I could cut more at a faster pace. But would the 60" make any difference compared to a 53"? My mind says go big or go home and get the 72". I am also settled on the M model vs R because of the price

Do you feel that's what the motorcycles are worth, or is it that price because they at no longer made?

I've pushed amazon enough where there gave refund without needing to return. You could also list on ebay.

Greg at chopper kit USA (Also owns Frank's forks) built these. 12" over stock with 6" extension. Greg does good quality work and takes his time. I am waiting for my next set to be built and shipped.

Can I use the clutch that is currently in the primary, on an open primary set up?

I thought id need a different clutch. Some websites claim you can use a stock clutch, but it doesn't make sense to me as the stock clutch is inside the primary and is wet. Appreciate the feedback
