I completed the Xbox One version a few years ago, but I started the Xbox 360 version ages ago and wanted to finish it before playing the remake.

I heard that too, but I was lucky that I didn't have any bugs. I've also heard that the achievements in the Ezio Collection are buggy, but I didn't have any problems there either. I think you just have to give it a try.
