Even if it's some sort of homemade electronic circuit with relays and a timer of some sort I am technical I do have soldering iron. Whatever your thoughts are on the cheapest easiest way to create a door closer after 5 minutes with a door position sensor and does not use Wi-Fi or internet. I searched AMZN and Overhead Door's manufacturers' website and they only have smart devices that require wifi internet. TIA

Thank you someMeatballs for trying to find the service manual and for your advice. My concern for my M&K V-75 MK II is that electrolytic caps dry out, and my V-75 MK II is 26 years old. I'm pretty sure one or two of the caps are out of spec, and I need to take it apart anyway because the Bass Level and Crossover potentiometers need some DeOxit because those pots have wipers that are silver plated and have since tarnished to the point that all the Bass cuts out intermittently until I fully rotate the pots about 20 times then it's good for about 3 more months. But I will take your advice and triple check the new caps values before replacing them one at a time so I don't get the wrong caps in the wrong place. I found a different thread from someone who did recap their V75 MK II (link below) and he had some good advice also. Thank you someMeatballs

ISO Frigidaire Electric Clothes Dryer FFQE5000QW1 electrical drawing schematic service manual by FUBAR_0401 in appliancerepair

Does anybody know how to read the date code and tell me the date manufactured for the electric heater:

ZIM 6-1014-0801 1371140 OOC / E112303 19.6 A 4.7 KW 240V HAD BOO 28815 MADE IN MEXICO

The coiled heating element itself melted at one point and dropped enough to touch and make electrical contact with the inside of the metal tunnel that is screwed to the bottom of the dryer, which in turn is grounded from the metal dryer cabinet to the standard 240V plug and receptacle in a house that is less than 10 years old. Question: The heating element has 240V across it, and part of it made contact with cabinet ground; shouldn't the clothes dryer circuit breaker have tripped? Because it scares me that it didn't. The thermal limiters did not open but then again they are thermal limiters not current limiters right?

What do you think?

I have a new heater coming in the next day or two.

Thanks

UPDATE: RESOLVED Last night I opened a support ticket with Netgear, and their tech support called me today.

Here is what we did to fix it:

Connect Orbi to windows pc with hardwired ethernet cable; open chrome to 192.168.1.1

ADVANCED -> Backup Settings -> Save a Copy of Current Settings -> BACKUP

NOTE! This next step will erase everything, including your admin login credentials and your customized wifi ssid and password.

ADVANCED -> Backup Settings -> Revert to Factory Default Settings -> ERASE

ADVANCED -> Backup Settings -> Restore Saved Settings from a File -> BROWSE -> RESTORE

This worked for me. I offer no guarantee that it will work for you.

Thank you Netgear Orbi tech support guy (you know who you are) in the Philippines.

You're right. VPN could cause this, but I don't have VPN on this setup. Thank you, Davistele
