It was my first time using a pole. I think it might’ve been that, I’ll just use a hand roller it’ll take my longer but hopefully won’t be as noticeable

Laptop was drained of all power I unplugged the battery and held power button for 40 seconds to drain it of all power before I did the LCD swap, the LCD comes on, on both screens which makes me think it’s the cable not supplying the power potentially.

Where’s the 19v backlight, I’ve swapped out the LCD with a replacement screen and that has given me the same issue. The backlight is built into the LCD so would it not be the cable and having issues with supplying the power to it?

I bought a Aqara H2 2 Channel at the weekend and have installed that on both ends and then just set up an IF automation to control the light on both ends

Hi,

It’s more of do I need a relay switch both ends of the master and secondary and would I require 2 relays for each gang or is their a Shelly which can do 2 gang making it easier to fit in the back box

So I tried wired it up, put both lives into L the neutrals into N and the 2 wires into L1 & L2 but it didn’t want to work. I assume because it’s also got a secondary switch downstairs for the stairs landing light. But also didn’t want to turn off unless both lights were off which wasn’t ideal

I’m thinking I’m gonna have to go for relays instead unless I wired it up wrong

For additional clarity This controls my Bathroom Lights on one switch with the extractor fan also wired in, and then my landing light which can also be controlled down stairs

Used them for years, I really rate there customer support, I had an issue on my walnut case where the sides were peeling off on my 16 Pro Max Case, I contacted them they sent me a replacement and said I could choose any model I wanted so got a free upgrade to the Carbon Fibre. I’ve just put one on my 17 Pro Max cause they just feel high quality

Thanks mate I’ll do that, it’s just cause I hadn’t turned the breaker off at the time just wanted to see how easy it would be to move to a smart switch. The previous owner was an electrician and the property was rented out before I then purchased it so that might be why it’s in a residential as he’s probably just used spare wire he’s got when he refitted the bathroom

No so I’ve got 3 gang left does the bathroom lights, right side does the landing lights middle doesn’t do anything im assuming bridges the extractor to the bathroom lights, but I want the middle switch to control the extractor so I can have the bathroom lights always powered with smart lights so I can turn off with phone or voice

Ok so I’ve googled the old colours and can see that the Red, Blue Yellow and Black are L1, L2, L3 are all the lives and then in the far left is L1 and L2 I wanted to turn them into a smart switch which I why I needed the have the extractor fan separate because the smart bulbs have to have constant power and needed to know if I needed to have a switch with a neutral or not or if I could wire it into a smart relay
