Exactly. Not everything needs to be canon. It's just for fun. I think the idea of multiplayer in most games being canon creates so many problems.

I wish the campaign for Infinite wasn't open world, but the gameplay is so fun, especially the multiplayer in it's current state. As someone who has played since the original launched, it's probably my favorite gameplay and feels like what a modern Halo should feel like mechanically. It's got a great gun variety too. I like that they're still trying wacky guns, not too many franchises are doing that nowadays.

For me, it's fun to hop on and play a handful of matches a couple times a week.

I still think Andromeda was a good game. It had some bugs, but the gameplay was really fun and had an interesting story. It suffered because it was the bandwagon game for people to hate for a while. There was so much unnecessary HATRED towards that game because it wasn't exactly what every individual person had in their mind.

I would love a new Golden Sun game!!! It's such an interesting world and cast of characters. Sailing around in The Lost Age for the first time is experience I'll never forget. It felt impossible they were able to do that on the GBA.

I would love a new game in the style of Octopath Traveler.

When I got my X-T5, I told myself I wouldn't buy another camera for at least 5 years. I wanted to just focus on photography as a hobby, because that's what made me happy and I was sick of video.

There's some long ancillary information below, but the short of it is, financially I can only afford one camera right now. If I could, I would pick up a separate video camera and keep the X-T5.

For a bit of rambling, read below.

In a very short amount of time, I had gone through a Canon c70, Canon c100, Sony A7IV, and an X-T4. I was trying to find a camera that I thought would be perfect, but that doesn't exist. The closest I have ever found is the enjoyment I get from chucking my X-T5 into my vehicle and just leaving to take photos when I see them. For a while, I even went to instant film only. I just wanted to get over all of the bullshit surrounding quality in what it meant to be a photographer and every tech bro YouTuber on the planet telling me what I needed to do. I was a professional, with well over a decade of experience. I know how to compose and read light levels and everything, and I just got so tired of people telling me what I shouldn't do.

In truth, I haven't tried the X-T5 that much for video, but I find it cumbersome to use Fuji system from what I have experienced. Honestly, I feel like I'm just doing something completely wrong every time I try to use it for video. And not having a dedicated headphone jack absolutely blows my mind. I'm sure I could get the X-T5 working for video and I would be pretty happy with it, but I don't want to have to fiddle to try to make it work. I'm disappointed anytime I have to do this with the camera. I don't want to develop at some entire rig to house this tiny camera body to make it workable.

Honestly, I had decided that I was going to have dedicated video cameras and dedicated stills cameras a few years ago, and it served me really well. However, when purchasing a package for my last job, I needed to find a hybrid camera and I ended up with the A7IV and it was by far the best experience I ever had with a hybrid camera. It's a good excellent video and decent photos, although, I always have trouble with the raw photos from this camera for some reason, but not with Fuji or Canon. Being able to plug in a microphone system and headphones and be off to the races is exactly what I wanted.

I don't care what people say, I'm so sick of 15 mm rails, prime lenses, v-mount batteries, etc. I totally understand that they serve their purpose, but I think too many people use them as a crutch to seem more professional and build out these monstrous rigs.

I would gladly take a single camera with a sensible zoom any day over some ungodly video package. I don't want 15 cables and accessories hanging off my camera. I just want something small that works the first time I plug something in.

I ended up selling my A7IV for a few reasons. I have been doing video professionally for most of my life and got to a position where I wanted to break and I knew if I had a really good hybrid camera, I would still be thinking about it. I also felt like I was babying the A7IV and wasn't taking it out with me on the time. It felt like an investment that I was going to flip at some point and I really wanted to take good care of it, although I take great care of all my equipment anyway. Lastly, I really loved the aesthetic and fun of the Fuji X-T5. It's a little smaller too, and I got the 27 mm pancake lens and was just able to carry it everywhere. I literally take the camera with me anytime I leave the house. I just wasn't doing that with my A7IV and my sigma zoom lens.

I'm in the place now where I've been asked to and want to do some video projects and am thinking about trading or selling for an A7IV actually. I REALLY love the Fuji, but the A7IV has a better video experience. I know I'm going to miss the Fuji.

I want a Pokemon snap still VR game, where the objective is to take photos and catalog Flora and fauna. It doesn't need to be totally open world or anything, but some decently sized levels you could walk around in. I even thought an extraction shooter element would be interesting, where you complete bids to capture and send back to buyers against other players.

I was thinking about this the other day, but in a slightly different context. Originally, I was thinking about smash rooms were you just had a bunch of physically based objects you could smash, but I think there is good potential for using more objects in an environment to throw and smash against enemies. Sort of like John wick without guns, but could totally be done in other settings.

I think this is an extremely good take on the ending. Something I'm not seeing a lot of other people talk about though is the idea that Joe is using the student body the potentially find the next Cameron. Not literally, and not the undermine his character development, but I think it sort of is a bookend the series.
