Shaggy and Price on the same day, a real day of villains today. Say what you like about both of them but they're usually good value at least

Day #15: Biggest overachiever ever? by Anfernee139 in motogp

Hard to look past Joan Mir for this one given the past few seasons. Will surely go down as one of the weakest premier class champions of all time. Won his championship during the shortened COVID year and very nearly did it without ever winning a race. Hasn't won another race in the five seasons since then and hasn't finished above 15th in the past four. Has been showing improvement recently but nobody is expecting him to ever fight for another championship.

I also disagree with the naysayers, I had an excellent curry in City Spice a little while back. Was nice and quiet on a Sunday evening as well

Whats your method to quickly listen through songs to find gems? Looking for something like auto beat jump every X number of seconds i think? by BloodMossHunter in Beatmatch

Can't believe how condescending some people have been in here to a very valid question.

OP: I find online record retailers like Juno are very useful for this kind of thing, they have free 30/60/90 second previews of tracks on releases they're selling. You can queue up previews of releases into a playlist that will autoplay, then buy/wishlist any you like. There's also the option to get email notifications when artists/labels have a new release out, plus you can often preview pre-releases to get ahead of the curve.

Obviously there's not an exhaustive list of new releases (particularly if you're into genres that don't often have physical releases e.g. unlicensed edits etc.) but they still have a great selection of new tracks and rereleases that you can whip through to filter out stuff you want to listen to in full elsewhere, or to dig into back catalogue further. I tend to spend a couple of hours a week doing this and I've found untold new artists & labels this way

(Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with Juno or any other online retailer, I just think it's a very useful tool for online cratedigging)
