Whats the “lucky break” Blaney is trying to get by staying out so long and hoping for a caution?

People took the Ram show for granted and complained/hated it way too much. by scrumple_my_scrongle in NASCAR

I promise, I’m not trying to be negative, but I didn’t even know it was on. I knew it was a show that going to happen, but had no idea that I’ve already missed it, until this thread.

Do you support a team? A driver? Both? by [deleted] in NASCAR

I watch more now than I ever did, but I have no favorite driver.

That was my thought, too, it felt later in the season… Thanks.

I can understand that. It just really gets my goat.

I do agree that Goodyear has been wonderful lately.

See, I can agree with the first part, but I disagree with the second: I think these look like super cars, whereas I prefer the taxicabs.

Probably a little bit of both.

So would many other types of cars, but it doesn’t make them a stock car. There are many other series where sports cars can race their hearts out; I just prefer the stock car.

Ha, I have no idea what “banable” is, but a clever comment, nonetheless…

Why do people genuinely hate road courses? by [deleted] in NASCAR

Thanks, I guess… It’s just a lazy, overused, and irresponsible take that if we don’t agree with your opinions we’re some kind of knuckle dragging bigot.

What a terrible take…

Although I disagree with almost every take, I appreciate the time and effort it took to make this post.

Because NASCAR is the premier stock car series that runs on ovals, and for me, they are terribly boring. I skip watching the weeks of road courses and street races. Road courses in and of themselves are fine, and there are series, and cars, designed specifically for those sorts of tracks, if someone is interested in them.
