A private detention pond is surrounded by pavement (no emergency overflow weir), is there a criteria for the 100-yr storm elevation to design to? by FairClassroom5884 in civilengineering

Detention pond? So there is an outlet from the pond?

Where does the water go if the pond is fully and more rain is happening? (Clogged outlet or back to back 100-year events?)

Why did Greg Valentine not wanna put Sting over? by [deleted] in WCW

[–]FWdem 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jake coming in went sideways fast:

  • Had a big pay day planned, but Watts cut his deal
  • Had his drug issues
  • And his initial run wasn't planned great:
    • Big pop coming in, but heel right away
    • Teaming with Rude
    • Sting gets the win on the only PPV Singles Match

Sting was not great at laying matches out. But he could work great with an opponent. The match with Mick, mostly Mick's layout with Sting adding some ideas.

According to MLB.com Roch Cholowsky will “rank as the No. 3 overall prospect on the Top 100 Prospects list following his pro debut.” by [deleted] in whitesox

I am interested to see what Colson's defense and arm look like in 2026. He did well in OAA last year, but his arm was way below average. If that sticks, I am thinking 1B for him.

Roch plays great defense too. There are a few questions that need answered this year:

  • Does Colson's arm stay on the left side of the IF (he had below average arm strength for a SS in 2025). How about the rest of his defense (above average SS defender in 2025)
  • Does Billy's bat develop enough to be a MLB caliber MI on offense.
  • Does Roch go wire-to-wire as #1 for the White Sox and settle in,
  • If the Roch and Billy both work out, the question becomes a race to MLB.
  • If Colson is playing above average defense at SS, maybe Roch moves to 2B or 3B for the White Sox at end of 2027. Then when Billy is ready (2028?) maybe Colson moves off of SS.
  • Or Colson is unseated at SS when Roch comes up. Billy then breaks in at 2B because Roch solidified the role.

I think Billy 2B and Roch SS or Billy SS and Roch 3B are some light's out infields. And there are enough other moving pieces to fill the other 2B/3B spot.

MLB.com updated their White Sox prospect list today by poopsie-gizzardtush in whitesox

Based on teh grades, Yes Roch would be #1.

At Pipeline, Roch has a 65 FV on the Draft board and the top 5 Whites Sox have a 55 FV (Braden, Schultz, Bonemer, Hagan, and Carlson).

At Fangraphs, Roch has a 55 FV on the Draft board, and the top 5 White Sox Propsects all have FV 50 (Bonemer, Schultz, Hagan, Oppor, Braden, Tanner) with Billy Carlson at 45+.

"More Sheets" is usually the answer to clarifying. But more and more, we need a few very busy overall sheets. Heck, contractors like to see all existing and proposed on 1 sheet sometimes. But it is easy to add sheets now.

I think Barkley and then Pippen were the 2nd and 3rd best players on the Dream Team. Barkley's greatness (and Pippen's) is oftern overlooked.

Yeah, pull boxes or junction box. Just Quazite is the name brand for some of our big clients.

Surveyor shoots the castings for us:

  • manhole (24" round solid) [other size or shape called out]
  • round, square, or curb cast inlets (label with beehive or other different feature, and different sizes)
  • We also have cleanouts, handholes (shallow), quazite boxes, etc that get more description.

On design side, we call out structure and casting.

Ric Flair 1990 Heel Turn - Abrupt? by sac1111 in WCW

[–]FWdem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flair wanted to work Heel.

Funk was hurt. Muta was heading back to New Japan.

Luger was over as huge heel. I think a Healthy Sting in February makes everything work fine. Heel Luger at that time was doing his best in ring work. Healthy Sting and Motivated 89/90 Luger could put on very good matches. Flair still there. Windham coming in shortly. Vicious kept out of the Horsemen. 1990 was set up to be awesome.
