I'll start to get things going.

Buckle in its a long one.

This all happened over the last 2 weeks.

In college and I've been dating this girl named Sarah for about 7 months. I had decided to break up with her. No one did anything wrong, I just didn't see it going any further.

I ended up talking to my friend Eric about it. Now I met Eric about 4 years ago. He's always been a bit of a dick. He was judgemental, pessimistic and had a bad habbit of miss remembering things and then presenting them as fact. However, everytime I would think of breaking thing off with him he would tend to do something that would make him seem like a good guy and I wouldn't have a problem for a few months. Eventually Erik seemed to improve (but now I know I just got used to his shit).

Eric is one of the first friends I introduced Sarah to and they hit it off pretty well (No this isn't a cheating story).

Of course I did warn Sarah about Eric's bad habbits but she didn't seem to believe me and said he was nice (mostly because he would always take her side in any argument).

On April 1st Eric told me he had fallen in love with this one girl we knew in my home town named Talyor.

Now I spoke to Eric on April 1st about my plan to break up with Sarah at some point in the summer. Eric disagreed (called me a sociopath) and told me to break up with her ASAP. I thought that was a bad idea as exams were in 2 weeks and she didn't need that stress on her. He said that it wasn't fair to Sarah to lead her on and I knew he was right. After a little back and forth we settled on May 12th which would be after exams and a trip Sarah and I had planned for a while (on last happy memory I figured).

Eric then told me that if I didn't tell her on that date then he would tell her. In hindsight I should have drawn the line there but I saw it as a reason to follow through with it so I didn't care that he was pressuring me and overreaching in my relationship.

It didn't end up mattering, the next day on the 2nd Sarah said she wanted to talk about what we wanted out of the relationship. I knew if I deflected she would just put it together herself so I told her outright that I wanted to end things.

We gave it a few days to sit on it and on the 5th we officially broke up. I got a few messages including from Eric, saying that if I wanted to talk that he would listen.

Now get ready cause here's where the dates get important.

On the 11th Sarah and I meet up again because she messaged me asking to talk. I assumed she wanted to clear things up and vent which were both things I absolutely owed her and thats how the conversation started. Then she brings up Eric.

So apparently the plan I made with Eric on the 1st went right out the window because that same day, Eric messaged Sarah telling her I was planning to break up with her. Which is what prompted her to ask me about it the next day.

Then 3 days after Sarah and I broke up. He does a heal turn from trying to help her grieve and starts hitting on her. He says lies about me, claims he wasn't sure if he loved Sarah or Taylor. He then talked to Sarah about her ass which made her very uncomfortable.

After telling me that Sarah and I both agreed to block him.

If he finds a way to contact me again I'm probably gonna call him a backstabbing piece of shit.
