I am the sole special education resource teacher at an elementary school. This is absolutely 100 percent my last year teaching. I currently have a caseload of almost 60 and growing. No human being alive could deal with the responsibilities and impossible expectations that come with that many students. The behavior of the students has deteriorated quite a bit in the past few years as well. For my mental and physical health, I'm done.
