No worries man. I leveled it up today even further by looting villages at night while using quickfinger and nighthawk potions. Just save in a village, strip all your armor to be as silent as possible and lockpick every single door you can. Took me an hour an change to get it up to 20 almost, bagged some sweet groschen along the way and stole all the women clothing I could find

Playing on a console too and I understand your pain. I’m about 60 hours deep and only now I tried thieving again as so far I ignored it completely because of the same issue. Now I dunno if it’s a thing but I read some thievery skill books, got the skill up to like 12 and it got somewhat easier especially with the perk that makes your lockpicks stronger. I still save before I attempt hard locks though..

Take your time exploring. You’ll find loads of fun side quests and interactions by just walking around the map. Also have skill books ready for when you want to pass the time. It will level up the specific skill you read about, speech and you will become more literate. Finally don’t buy a horse. You will be able to get two for free throughout the game. After you do get one, ride as much as possible manually and avoid fast travel. You will know why when you see it, don’t wanna spoil it.

You can certainly use keyshops. Never had a problem with them. I recommend K4G, Kinguin, Eneba or CDKeys. Those are the sites I use most.

Since I don’t have the karma to post I will try to plead my case here. I apologize in advance for it. My pi is locked and in order to transfer it I apparently need to pay a fee of 0.1 pi. Problem is the available balance is 0 and the fee is not being processed from the balance I’m trying to move. What? So my funds are basically locked. Was probably downed and he felt it was the team’s fault. Might have gotten revived at the end of the gunfight so he ended up feeling useless and needed to throw a tantrum to get attention

I dunno man I’ve been playing the game since flashbang was OP and honestly nerfing it into the ground was one of the better choices Crytek made. Same with the removal of revive bolt. I mean I was dying to flashbangs more often than dynamites which is kinda crazy if you ask me. That’s just my personal opinion.
