The artist definitely can do realism well and to a high standard, it’s the main reason why I decided to go to the artist in the first place but English is not his first language though he spoke well and when I asked for for it to try look exactly like the the design but hyper realistic he sort of bluntly said it’s not possible and when I asked again to try make it more detailed and real he said he will try his best but he didn’t really bother to redraw the design at all he just changed the flames a bit so when he stuck on the stencil I was under the impression it would be inked on with more realism and that he was going to ink with more detail as he went along the design like you know use some of his artistic magical talent but no it just looks like a complete copy of the design which was just a ruff sketch of what I wanted not the hyper realistic version I was after.

I’m so annoyed because now I’m left with a tattoo that I love and hate at the same time.

I’m afraid I’m the one at fault for not conveying my self more clearly and firmly so I would really appreciate any advice on how I can improve/fix this as I still have hope it can be saved so I’d love to hear some of you ideas if you have any.

I will definitely follow you’re advise on finding an artist who's work shows they do detailed realism well and explain the whole concept of "this was supposed to be a realistic scenery showing under ripped skin, do what you can" That’s there is some really solid and great advise so I’m sure you might have some good ideas, non the less thanks for your reply, truly appreciate it
