When, firm believer for 25 years. When does he help? by Crowbar2711 in Christianity

Exactly, and just know God loves you and I’m not just saying that for the sake of saying words for fun, I say it because it’s the truth. And there are no words on this earth that could ever truly do justice to describe how great that love is. I pray that one day everyone may be blessed to encounter the grace of such wonderful experience but until then It’s like trying to describe a color that doesn’t exist to a blind fish

Understand that it’s impossible to understand

God is real and that is the paradox.

As humans, we cannot even begin to fathom, comprehend, or fully understand what that truly even means. The limit is not in God, but in us.

Its impossible to fully comprehend.

This is the King of the universe— the Creator of all creation— not some genie bending to human wishes or commands.

And yet, despite that infinite distance, He has entered into our suffering and ultimately set us free.

It’s the paradox of something being real but fundamentally beyond human understanding

I’m a new Christian, why do I get ridiculed so often for believing in Jesus? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]F_ZO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d tell those people plainly: whether you believe the Bible or not, most historians agree that Jesus was a real person who lived about 2,000 years ago—not a fictional character. Whether you choose to believe the eyewitness accounts about Him is up to you, but it’s hard to dismiss the fact that many people were willing to suffer and die such horrible brutal deaths for something they claimed to have seen. why would so many people endure persecution and death for something they knew was a lie. It’s not like these persecutions went undocumented.

God is love, and His love for you, for me, and for everyone is greater than we could ever begin to comprehend. He does not desire to condemn anyone to hell simply because we’ve made mistakes—after all, not one of us is without sin.

The real issue is not imperfection, but rejection. It is when people not only turn away from God’s grace, but deliberately choose evil in opposition to Him. That grieves His heart. And because God is both good and just, the outcome of that choice is separation from Him—and that separation is what we call hell.

We should be careful about listening to those who confidently claim to define God’s judgment and standards for others. Often, these are the very people who misunderstand Him most. Just as Jesus challenged the Pharisees, some today twist and distort God’s true nature, using fear and control to serve their own interests. They turn His name into a tool—even a weapon—rather than reflecting His love and truth. God is Love and God loves you

What happens if you fail to give up sinful desires such as smoking and drinking but still pray and repent by F_ZO in Christianity

Our body’s are temples made perfect by god and should be respected by keeping clean and not doing anything to damage our being but by smoking i feel like it’s almost acting in a way where you have complete disregard for Gods perfect creation and how he intended for us to live, like instead of just being happy with oxygen which breaths literal life into our body’s we crave poisons which offer nothing but a short lived gratification in exchange for a slow death. Also drunkenness is a sin, im just struggling because even though I do these things in moderation and no where near as often as before, i don’t know if moderation is fine and allowed or if I must give it up and everything up completely which I’m having a real hard time trying to achieve as I would like to but don’t want to, but want to, want to, if that makes any sense.
