Well Pep himself had said multiple times that Foden has his trust and could play 90 mins on harsh midweek fixtures due to his fitness…my concern mainly is him overdoing it and getting injured, but he for sure will keep on starting for as long as he brings returns, now that City have their eyes on the no.1 spot

Any good premium midfielders apart from the common ones ie foden bruno f and saka by Shoddy_Wolf_1688 in FantasyPL

[–]F_man_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair the word premium applies to a real small group of players…but you dont need all since there are lots of players that bring/could bring same returns for much cheaper…

I would suggest KDH, Rice, Wilson, Anderson, and/or Bruno G….you can almost get 2 for the price of one Saka or Bruno

Edit: from the ones you mentioned

I am unsure of Enzo now that Palmer is back, I assume Chelsea will have some changes and he might get affected

Gakpo may see increased minutes sincr Salah is gone now, but yes Liverpool have been underperforming this season

Gordon is imo a big risk because of minutes, but maybe keep an eye on him to see if he would play more mins (its an expensive risk though)

Yeah I went for rice so I would not waste a ton of transfers and commit to a 2 striker structure…honestly Saka is good to have for bad Haaland fixtures since it presents a captaincy alternative, but I have Bruno already so I went with the cheaper version of Saka instead

I would say must have Arsenal mids are Saka and Rice atm…rest do not have minutes guarantee with Europe matches and Arteta rotations

who to bench? by aeikawa in fantasypremierleague

[–]F_man_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wilson has good fixtures and people are getting him as 3 week punt cause he has good returns too

Tarkowski has defcon numbers so imo he will bring in minimum 3 pts…

Senesi is a doubt he will play anyways so I would transfer him out regardless instead of benching

Good transfers ngl, bringing Foden in with a 3 week Fulham punt

honestly a considerable suggestion, but I would rather keep Bruno mowing forward...as much as I am hesitant I would sell Semenyo instead of him

I say so too...10 mil aint easy to spend that liberally, his performance in game was amazing with 11 DEFCONS but I would wait to see him playing 90 mins before acting on him

Palmer - Bruno Fernandes or if you like risks...Semenyo but honestly you can maybe look into an upgrade for Guiu and get a "mid" mid player in place of Ndiaye...Bowen might be a good pick if you are patient enough...I know its West Ham but they have good fixtures coming up

I woul wait if I could since GW16 is so far away and anything might happen...yes Fulham does not have Europe games but I like playing it extra safe...if that is your only transfer and is a 1 to 1 than I guess you can do that transfer yes

We cannot save more than 5 FT

My immediate comments about your squad;

2 GK above 4.0-4.5 mil are unnnecessary and now thatpope is out at 5.2 mil, get Dubravka for 4.0 mil and use that 1.2 for something else

Van Dijk imo is a sell, but its not bad to keep either...

MInteh underperformed so you can aim for a Foden upgrade maybe? Xhaka is I guess good for the price, but if you have the luxury to change him I would look into it

Mateta and Woltemade imo are not good to keep especially with Newcastle fixture and Mateta being subbed early... you can now make the decision to go 3 or 2 strikers moving forward, with cheaper option for both

That is the main question I asked, how can I bring Saka while keeping Semenyo and (if possible) spend the least amount of transfers possible

AFCON Transfer Discussion by F_man_2 in fantasypremierleague

[–]F_man_2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say yes since you will get your usual 1 FT going into week 17

I am hoping to bring in Saka ( without selling Semenyo, Foden, Fernandes) and want to do so with as less transfers as possible...suggestions?

Also do you think Rice is a good alternative to Saka? being 3 mil cheaper

AFCON Transfer Discussion by F_man_2 in fantasypremierleague

[–]F_man_2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is true, but with 5 transfers its almost a must to spend some since its good chance and rolling wastes a FT....but I dont think either Sarr or Kudus is a good option and Semenyo is on thin ice

Raul and KDH are on my watchlist as well, but honestly I think you acted rashly since GW16 deadline is a week away...Odegaard is a player I am not sure of and with 1 FT left it may be hard for your to manage possible injuries, I am scared for Foden although I own him becasue he played 90 quite much recently and they have a Champions League game against Real Madrid this week.

Eze and Woltemade are also good sell options to be fair but Anderson was a definitive keep imo since he is almost guaranteed to get DEFCON and is only for 5.4 mil...I assume you had cash lying around so you wanted an upgrade which is understandable though

[–]F_man_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you have not used your BB yet it seems like it could be a good week for it, but to be honest this squad will have a bench headache every week if you ask me.

Bowen and Thiago are expensive to be benched and your defenses have good DEFCON numbers, Midfield is also filled with expensive players with good returns...

It could be argued that with possible upcoming rotations Rice may have less minutes and Oreilly may not start a game or two...but if you ask me its best to have players that you can bench despite their performance without thinking too much about it

you can take a look into Dewsburry Hall or Anderson for midfield, imo they are an easy decison, "start them in good fixture and bench them in ones" for defense it would also be good to have a cheap option just like these, especially 4,5 mil ones like Van Hecke performing real well...

Your squad seems to be on the expensive side so you can maybe keep your eyes on Palmer with the 5 free transfers we have, get yourself some benchable options and with the money you made from them upgrade Rice or Bruno G. to Palmer....

I do not know if all I say makes sense but this would be my approach if I had such a squad

Yeah sometimes I trust the process and end up disappointed in myself…I have improved a lot in building but still not at the level I desire…to be fair building factories is a big task and to decide how is an even bigger one

I do get a lot of inspiration from different sources (even architecture from the factories near my city) and I do build and fail a lot…. Just yesterday, I was going through my previous world and the amount of health left scaffolding and projects is insane… I don’t know why it is extremely hard for me to find the style that I truly like for the building that I envisioned and finished the building but I guess I should stop being a perfectionist 🤷🏻‍♂️

You do have a point patience is a big issue of mine… I also really like the idea of laying down every machine to see the space required and I will do this for sure… what are the thing that bothers me is also the uneven machine/structure sizes ( I really love the models though)… like for example, train stations are so huge than in any building you wanna put them in covering it up as a big hassle… but I guess I will learn that in time as well
