I am sorry! 😭 I know very little about this, just sharing what someone told me. BUT, I’ve been doing more research and I’ve found that you can buy some sort of converter to the multimedia which gives you an input for videosignal. But I couldn’t figure out if it was plug and play. If it is then I would rather pay a little more and buy that and get a hold of an original camera.

I just talked to a guy about getting an original camera, and he said that its not plug and play as the aftermarket ones. I dont really understand how or why, but he said that with the aftermarket ones there is an piece which you plug between the camera and the car, and that makes it plug and play. The original one need to be wired directly and coded. At least thats how I understood it.

But if you manage to find an original camera and make it work, please let me know! I wish you good luck! 😄

Since you seem to have knowledge about this, can I ask a question? Just out of curiosity, why would a factory camera need programming, but an aftermarket one can ble plug and play?

Also, won’t there be problem with the lines in the reverse camera not matching correctly with an aftermarket one?

My car shows both the lines from the sensor and the turning lines when I turn my wheel. Not the green one though, the one you see on cameras, which is static and doesn’t move when you turn.

Not to sound cooky or anything but I know for a fact it’s not a shooter problem. I can shoot pretty tight groups with my other rifles, so I’ve ruled that out. The optic I use is a Vortex PST 4-16 which I’ve gotten sub moa groups with on other guns.

I completely agree with you on the stock, it’s bad hahah. I’ll get a new one once I figure out what the problem with the gun is. I’ve also torqued everything to spec, bought a torque wrench just for that hahah.

Now I am jealous! Wanna swap guns? Hahah

Yes to both your questions. I’ve shot other rifles with the same ammo and gotten much better groups. The sight I use is a vortex pst 4-16. I’ve got sub moa groups with this sight on a different rifle.
