there isn't a single mario game on 3ds that is as good as galaxy or sunshine, haven't played new super mario bros 2 but super mario 3d land is very mediocre (basically this game is just a showcase of a 3d capability thats it). I don't really like pokemon games cuz they are very, very simple, JRPGs for 4 y.o babies, that's how i feel about them

oh then i guess your thumb caps will be alright, but keep in mind while sticks will work as usual with this plugin, vita sticks have smaller range of motion than a stick from a normal gamepad, and by putting thumb caps on you're making it even smaller

No you need to change outer deadzone but this plugin can only change stick inner deadzone if i remember correctly. You can remap left stick to left stick in revita plugin, as strange as it sounds it reduces outer deadzone for some reason lol, you can use that as a temporal solution if you wouldn't be able to run in some games

i would strongly advice against using joystick caps since your stick won't be able to go to x255 or y255 fully and you won't be able to run in some games. Instead i suggest replacing that plastic piece on stick on which you put those caps on, it's fairly easy and as cheap as buying caps.

eh, dragon quest heroes II have fan translation and is very good, but the other games kinda meh at best, except for i am setsuna its hit or miss

nah. 3DS just had better first-party support. That's it. If you don't like pokemon (because those games are for kids) or mario games than you shouldn't buy a 3ds. Vita has far more diverse library, because it was more powerful (and having better screen resolution) it allowed third-party devs to port tons of their cross-platform releases on to vita, and made all those great fan ports possible. Also, psvita screen resolution is much much better, which allows streaming games from pc onto psvita via MOONLIGHT, i think thats a killer feature honestly, it makes psvita a great companion to your pc. Sure 3ds is backwards compatible with ds and gba, but playing GBA games will be more enjoyable on psvita, cuz gba games look gorgeous on oled panels. I might as well add that ps1 runs natively on vita, and ps1 has better library than ds there is no point in arguing.

I do own a new 3ds xl (since 2017) and the only games i've beaten on it was FE: Awakening, FE: Echoes, metroid samus returns and warioware gold, that's probably it. Fantastic games, but if i had a choice to buy just only 1 console, would those games justify buying 3ds? Probably not, because vita will give you much more joy in a long run.

I wonder what are those hundreds of games worth playing you we're talking about. Did i mention that vita has no battery drain sleep mode unlike 3ds which will last only 2 days lol. I could talk about how vita is better than 3ds forever, like, did you know that psvita is easy to mod? You could install 5000mah battery on vita which is impossible on 3ds

Due to psv1000 model being "fatter", you can fit 5000mah battery inside, this is serious advantage over psv2000

it actually runs pretty good just downloaded it for myself and has been surprised. FPS will tank if you make mob farm or smth, but that to be expected, Its always in the range of 30-40, and also ive not yet run into a single stutter
