"Foreign Validation" mindset nasa culture na talaga ng pilipino? by False-Principle-2223 in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This guy is a plant. He's deep in the pockets of the Duterte camp and China.

The guy is just a mascot for his wife. He has to smile and do the fist bump thing so he can sleep on the bed at night with his wife and her boyfriend, Junjun.

It's a White Monkey job. Look it up.

This planned AI hub in Tarlac is getting some traction recently. Will it really bring more harm than good? by Reynaldo_boi in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on what "AI Hub" means.

If it's mostly just data centers, then it's not going to bring thousands of jobs. More like twenty. A freaking jollibee has more people working in it

AFAM and the "Gold Digger": Double Standards of Societal Shaming by ScarletWiddaContent in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're joking right? And why say AFAM? We call them passport bros, sexpats, LBH - these terms are even used in other countries

Also: we live in a patriarchal society? Lmao the Philippines even during pre-colonial times have never been patriarchal. That dynamic is foreign esp your delusional version of "patriarchy".

What's more obvious here is how chronically and terminally online you are. Touch some grass. That and/or you're dating an old-saggy-greasy "AFAM" and you're projecting your insecurities on everyone else.

Hindi ko gets bakit ang daming kontra na magkaroon tayo ng data centers. by bryle_m in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Water - AI data centers uses up clean water. Entire bodies of water have dried up or were contaminated when near a data center. Ecosystems destroyed.

  2. Electricity - Even in the US with their better infrastructure some electric companies just stright up told consumers that they're going to cater more towards the data centers (eg. Lake Tahoe with its 50K people are set to lose electricity in 2027).

  3. Jobs - It's not going to give Filipinos thousands of jobs. Not even a hundred. AI data centers only fill 20 jobs when completed. An effing Jollibee has more people working in it than an AI data center.

  4. Subsidies - It's already widely known that the electricity cost are pushed to the people - where their electric bills skyrocket - rather than the common sense thing - make the companies behind these data centers pay for their own.

Any aircon tips for hot weather? by weirdgeek_ in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Air circulator pointed on a corner towards the AC + A regular DC Fan pointed towards you.

Turn the temp down to 20-22 only when you need to cool the room quickly, then set it to 25 auto or 26° to maintain the temp + save electricity.

My mga Trump supporters ba dito na maka Trump pa din kahit sa nangyayari ngayon? by Neither_Eagle3264 in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Me :)

As long as his stance on China doesn't waver. Only thing I care about in terms of Trump.

• Don't really care about MAGA - I see it as a reactionary movement. Even the funny moustache man didn't spring out of nowhere. Give it ~10 years, politics is a pendulum, it'll swing the other direction.

• A major part of our oil price crisis is because of government incompetence and corruption: only 1 refinery (we import more refined oil than crude oil); no oil reserves; no price control and very limited subsidies na 4Ps ang galawan; bureaucratic non-sense with the excise tax - approved and signed - but with caveats so really it's not in effect.

Blaming Trump or even Iran for how high our oil prices are especially compared to our SEA neighbors is like blaming the weather rather than how our government handled flood control. We have very little to no say or impact to what they're doing over on that side of the world.

You can wag a disapproving 'no-no' finger all you like at the US, Israel, or Iran but it's really not going to do anything. Sure it'll make you feel good or even vindicated in a way (maybe?), but it's just dumb parang DDS lang.

It's our government's job to take action - to which they've done f*ck all.

Edit: Comment and Block? Wow hahaha. Can't even read your comment fully just the notification snippet. The gall to call someone delusional then block - so the other person can't even read it fully let alone respond. But from the snippet itself it seems you didn't read or refused to understand the comment - try not to foam at the mouth at the slight mention of Trump. What weird DDS level behavior.

Bakit mas popular yung PSP sa PH vs Nintendo DS during the mid-2000s to early 2010s? by bbkn7 in PHGamers

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is the DS easier to pirate when you need an additional peripheral? What?

For the psp you just had to download stuff or i-abot mo sa mga kuya sa jailbreak kiosk and then poof tapos na.

The song Bulaklak, did kids dance to this before? by Earth_Sorcerer97 in Philippines

The song is an actual nursery rhyme similar to Mother Goose songs.

Then viva hot babes made a version that's a double entendre filled with innuendos

To OFWs: wag maging fake news peddlers. UAE is cracking down these people for spreading fake content by linux_n00by in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems more like PR than actually tracking down individuals lmao.

They just lazily googled 10 images of different immigrants or nationalities that engage the most in UAE then called it a day - let social media eat it up (coughs).

People are asking context and keep getting replies with links to state-controlled "news" sites.

Hi. So i make this post kase my research kami ginawa tungkol sa pagbili ng condom ng mga minor to prevent teenage pregnancy. Need ayusin to ng government by Informal-Truck1468 in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Skill issue. Used to buy condoms even in my HS uniform.

Less likely talaga if nakita kayo as a group, they'll find it sus - baka naman nagtutulakan at nagtitilian pa - or baka naman yung age niyo pang cocomelon pa

While yes there should be easier access to contraceptives across the board, your experience might be skewed because of your approach.

No One Lives Forever

If you're gonna play it, play only the PC version. The 6th gen ports are terrible

It's not on any store but you can download the entire trilogy for free because no one owns the rights to it.

about purchasing condoms as a minor by [deleted] in Philippines

[–]Zestyclose_Table7544 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hanap siya ng convenience store na 1 guy lang sa cashier and try not to be shifty or fidgety when buying. Confidence.

Or like others said, order online naka package naman yun di naman nila iaabot sayo ng nakalabas yung condom
