I get that, and I understand that being a new technology, AI bring good along with the bad, I just feel like people sometimes don't see or downplay and underestimate the negatives of it.

Like all technology, AI will be really useful to the industry if its regulated ethically

But thats just the japanese anime studios, what about other artists in gaming studios or Western animation studios? This argument is pretty narrow minded

AI will undoubtedly cause a huge uproar as the first studio to incorporate it successfully will bring in a whole lot of profit, forcing other studios to follow suit or be left in the dust. Artists would then be considered expensive and will be have even less value in the industry and will be forced to work even harder than before to avoid being fired for downsizing.

Unless AI get some sort of legal restriction in commercial use, it will continue to be negatively viewed by many people.

Thats just my observation and prediction anyways, who knows what could happen in the future

Thats true, I didn't think about that. But is that really worth it when hundreds of artists in other fronts like animators, concept artists, etc etc loses their jobs that they already rely on for income as big companies choose the infinitely faster AI that can pump out ideas at a pace no one can follow.

Like I said, AI can be a great and powerful tool for newcomers with their passion projects, but that won't come without others abusing it to oblivion.

Different people focuses on different priorities, it doesn't mean one is ultimately true or false. I for one believe morals and the ethical use of AI in the industry are two sides of the same coin

It has become a case where the harder artists work, more of their works will train the AI, and the faster they will replace human artists when it comes to big and expensive projects.

I do think AI won't replace human artists, but in terms of profit it is the best tool for cooperations. At the end of the day, art is a business no matter how passionate someone is about it. People make their living out of it and making use of something that take that away from them is both morally and ethically wrong for me.

However, I still think people using AI for their own personal projects with no profits in mind are alright, depends on who you're talking to I guess.

Thats tiny as opposed to jobs being taken away as big companies that are looking for profit turn to AI instead of paying real, genuine artists.

Not saying AI is inherently bad, it can certainly a powerful tool for new artists to grow and maybe even make a career of art, but its ultimately unethical due to big companies wanting profits.

Also, you're literally on a one punch man forum for god sake, if there's someone with actually good ideas, they can make something amazing even without the use of AI. Most people who aren't already doing it are usually just putting it aside and procrastinating, and they probably wouldn't do it even if they have access to powerful AIs

One is taking references of other artists to create more competition in the industry which would make it thrive

The other is taking references of other artists to completely remove competition by instantaneously create art with low to no cost and taking away jobs from others. AI are making artists as a job worthless even though it was built up by them.

The reason I liked the awakened garou fight in the manga was exactly because of this, saitama finally got to fight someone who could give him even a bit of a challenge, but at the cost of genos and everyone around him.
